Good stuff. Like liquid boot polish. The 2nd coat makes the difference. Probably best to mask off, and use gloves. Be prepared to throw away applicator. It’s quite cheap for what it does. Still going strong on my car 3 weeks later. Doesn’t seem to fall off like others products. It’s like black paint for plastic.

Just bought a bottle and used it for the first time on the trim of my MSRT Ford Ranger. I used just one coat and after application as per the instructions I knew that the product was doing as it claimed. I could see the results immediately. I suspect that the Graphine content is to get into the nanoscale structure of the trim to form a better adherence. I’m happy with it and I agree, the bottle will last you for years.

I have used D3 before. I just started using the turtle wax trim. Yes it’s usually 2 coats. So far very good, but only 2 months experience. I would be very interested in longterm side by side comparison. Thank you

I use revolution from EZ. But found Owatrol polytrol colour restorer...Applied with small brush and wiped over with cloth, results are awesome and after the 4th wash its still good.

With my older age and back problems, putting one coat of a trim restorer onto a car is enough work for me. Applying two layers of anything is pretty much out of the question. Thanks for the video Jon.

I’ve used it on my car and motorcycle and it works well. On small bits I apply it with a brush and then rub it around.

I use the sonax plastic kunstoff "paint", it requires application with tape lines, gets messy, but it stays for a long time. Use it on the notorious volvo P2 trim.

I used the Turtle wax non hybrid stuff, comes out like a cream, goes on easy does not discolor anything and after a month it still looks new and beads water. It is not very expensive.

Recently got this, it's good on textured plastic but on the the smoother stuff not quite got the hang of getting an even finish, I see other reviews mention this so maybe the product not technique

I do like a bit of Solution Finish, just remember to put the cap back on when going around the car. My little bottle went byebye 🤦🏻‍♂️

It's lasting two months so far on a scuttle panel on a Hyundai, it's not quite black but more of a very dark grey. It won't harm paint but don't let it dry on it otherwise it can be quite difficult to get off.

Here in the States, there are two trim restorers that are "King of the Hill". One is Cerakote and the other Malco Revive Nu. With many detailers doing their own tests, these two seem to work the best and longest. I really like the TW Hybrid Solutions products, however, they are NOT getting great reviews with this product. Unfortunately, Cerakote is not practical in a business, financially, but Malco is.

If you’ve got a garage I can’t see why you wouldn’t use Gtechniq C4. It’s a permanent restorer, so no worrying about durability. Only downside is that it needs to cure indoors

Be interesting to see how long this lasts, funnily enough I’ve recently ordered a bottle based on another review that rated it highly.

Applied some to my car about a month back, still holding up. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

If it gets on paintwork, a damp cloth, or IPA easily removes it. Also prep the area to be treated before application. Simply follow the instructions.

Was alright for me. Tricky to get an even finish though and messy. Got it 20% off so can't complain.

Great product that requires patience in my opinion. Best applied with an angled foam brush (pennies from aliexpress for a bag of them). Forms a layer of sorts, requires prep for best results. Top with a sio2 sealant for extra beads. Gloves and wet microfibre to hand if you touch an area you don’t want black!

You won't see if it bleeds, I used a lot of trim restorers, they either fade to nothing or leave black streaks when it rains down the bodywork, only time will tell.

reminds me of inkjet printer ink its basically pigment (microscopic particles) in a solution and is so fine it penetrates into the pores. Get that stuff on your skin and you have a temporary tattoo :D

I don’t see the point in these £4.99 for Mr fix ceramic coat and it works fantastic on plastic. Had in on for 18 months before it needed redoing.

What’s the best 2 in 1 polish and wax, been trawling KZfaq but couldn’t get a decent answer.

I didn't like working with this product. It doesn't seem to absorb, doesn't self level leaving wipe marks. I was peeling it off my glove. Looks like plastiDip. I doubt it absorbs

dont try and put this over half worn-off solution finish it foes like water over oil 4 coats and still spotty

Tried it. Made a big mess and didn't coat evenly. I use almost exclusively TW products. This stuff is garbage in my opinion. Their clear trim restorer is much better.

Would no recommend this product I have a vauxhall mokka lots of black plastic this turtle wax was a complete nightmare it's more of a dye then a restoration.. I did exactly what it says on the bottle but it was terrible I have now gone back to my original auto gylm bumper and plastic restoration I put the turtle 🐢 wax in the binn

I use cerakote. crazy chemical stuff probably but easily last 6+ months.
