"Turvallinen Matka" (an improvisation for Kantele)

I've spent the holidays in Finland this year, and one of the gifts I received from Alex and his family was a Kantele, the national instrument of Finland! It is of the zither family of instruments and this particular one has 28 strings. I've adored the sound of the kantele for many years, that guttural ancient tone to it that rings out for ages! I can't wait to record this with some harp and maybe recorder or low whistle.
This is my first recorded improvisation on the kantele. I'm currently waiting for my friend to arrive to Vaasa and she's currently waiting at Helsinki airport due to delays caused by snowstorms. As such, I decided to name this 'A Safe Journey', or in Finnish, 'Turvalinnen Matka'.
