Could you explain/do a tutorial on layers? I feel like it’s such a simple concept but I still don’t know what I’m doing with them to this day. With creating folders, what should go above what, etc. also I see a lot of people use this line tool (I think it’s called lasso) to colour the selected area or something. Uhhh, idk how to do that either. It’s about to be a new year and I got a tablet for Christmas so I want get good at drawing, so maybe have a whole tool/art program functions tutorial? I found your channel today and it’s really helpful, I’ve liked and saved a bunch of tutorials because I’m gonna definitely need and use them! xD ok, hope you have a good day

Well, if you don’t know how to use these things then realistically you should start off with a free, beginners program. lasso and folders are pretty much basics, therefore maybe you should start with a program called ‘MediBang Paint X’ despite me not being a beginner, I do still use MediBang Paint X! Hope this helps.

Im surprised by the fact that these are the exact same techniques i use when shading clothing.. Not to mention im just as old as him, and ive also been drawing for 2 years, and to top it all off, my art quality is just exactly at the same level as his... i never thought I'd found someone so relatable on my end, instantly subscribed! the video is incredible, thank you so much!! i just have a small question, I'm an air head sorry. 1:58 how do you do that with the hard brush? it's like you're blurring it. I though you'd use an oil brush but the pencil looks pretty normal. I love the way you paint, it's truly wonderful

It’s kinda hard to explain. Pressing lightly with the tool allows you to blend some colors together and stretch them.
