Tutorial On Pond5 Video Clip Tagging

This is an in depth tutorial for tagging your footage on Pond5 at the end I show the CSV workflow@ 10:15 so you can use what you did on other sites. I always start on Pond5 for that reason.

Thanks for replying. I wanted to ask something. The newly edited files are not appearing at the end of the list in the csv file that i download from pond5? Any way around that.

I love the information you gave here-extremely helpful. If you can, it would be really helpful to do this video again using a CSV. I have managed to upload several batches now (thanks to your info) AND the most important part is that when doing batches, you can attach the releases on the CSV so you don't have to go through and do that laborious process to each clip. Thanks again! BTW, all of my clips seem to be reveiwed within 24 hours when doing it directly to Pond5.

I use Shutterstock for their keyword finder, then copy/paste those keywords into Pond 5, adding commas between keywords.

Hey there, thank your for this helpful tutorial!! I didn't understand though what is the purpose of attaching a release to a video clip? Hope you can help me with this. Thank you a lot!

If there are identifiable PEOPLE or private property (like a house) that appear in your video, you will need the permission of the person or property owner so that the clip can be used in commercial applications...like advertising, product promotions, corporate training, etc. Without the release attached, your video will be limited to EDITORIAL uses like documentaries, news programs, etc. Pond5 has a release form template you can have people fill out....I have never used it since I think most people would look at me funny of I asked them to fill it out. Most releases are done between a filmmaker and a model who already know each other, and the shoot is pre-planned.

Just leave a note at the bottom to the curator that says editorial

Yes. Put check marks to the right of all similar video clips. In the bottom left, select Batch Edit, click Execute, enter data, click Save.

Thx for the video again ! Have you tried stocksubmitter ? what do you think about it ? it does all this automatically and cost a penny per month. I would love to have your advice on this one :-D

I would love to give it a go, have been struggling with it on my Mac! I may do better on a PC. Hopefully in the near future I can make a video on it.

@@craftedshutter it will change your life and maybe you will see why i don't get blackbox fee.. there is also a free tool called Xpiks but i wasn't able to make it work properly.. For now Stocksubmitter is perfect for me ! i'll see in the future and maybe i'll try blackbox for the partnership tool

could you make a video for how to fill out model release, property release? I asked a lot of people and seems that nobody have answer to this question and I cannot find such tutorial in google/youtube. If you can show an example video and fill out the description for this video will be great. Also curios if you fill out model release for every shot or you can create a little bit more general description to include several actions in the same location. for example Woman climbing up stairs in the mountain / Woman climbing down stairs / Woman walking in the mountain / Woman looking through binoculars
