We found three obsessed adolescent Twi-Hards and brought them in for an intense round of "Twilight" trivia! At stake is a pair of tickets to the "Breaking Dawn Part 2" red carpet premiere and after party!! But what these Twilight fanatics don't know is that they won't actually be competing - their Dads must answer the questions!
Here's hoping these fathers paid attention to their daughters obsession... or they're about to have a terrible holiday.

Valeria Chuba Oh, don't worry, I was in a class with only 2 girls and almost 30 boys for a year.[last year actually] I also spent most of my childhood playing Wolfenstein or other games with them, because we were the only ones with computer in our village...and then I kinda got uset to hanging out with them. Boys can also be foolish, but I've never seen them act that way because of films. Even if they watch stupid films like Transformers, at least they don't freaking cry and scream. They are mostly just excited to see it, and that's it. But boys can act like little shits too. And I would be also concerned then.. It's just that I care about girls little more, since I'm also one. [Sorry about my english and lenght of reply D:]

Fourth Sun You know, crying and screaming at 13 years of age is perfectly fine - you are full of wildly fluctuating hormones, after all. Don't you remember seeing the old clips of The Beatles fans? Women older than these girls, completely beside themselves. This is hormones and sexual energy finding an outlet. Give these girls a few years and they'll be fine. The thing that worries me about our boys is how easily they say horrible things like "I will rape you", etc. It makes me sick that a bunch of young boys would rape a girl and then film it and put it on Facebook. That is truly sickening, and terrifying. Girls bullying each other to the point where one of them kills herself, that's horrifying. But a bunch of young, hormonal teenagers being in love with a movie star? That's just normal and healthy. People express their emotions and sexual energy differently. Some are more introverted than others, and for every screaming girl there is a girl who quietly writes romantic things in her diary. Teenagers are incredibly annoying, but they are just a fact of life.

Shadowybladeatgmail It has some flaws though. The titular character is kind of lame (Dune suffers the same issue.). He's this special kid but they never really give any reason for why he's special. Never really cared for "chosen one" type stories with maybe a few exceptions. Though, as I said above, shows like Power Rangers were like Twilight. The effects, pretty people, action, drama, etc. appeal to a younger person's simpler mind or maybe act as an escape for someone who's more intelligent/mature.

VoytekZ, not all girls are brainless; or what you should just say they aren't "intelligent." Just because they like a boy band or whatnot, it doesn't make them idiots. I was saying how I can't handle my friends fan-girling over a boy band. I never meant to describe them as "brainless." Your term "Brainless girl of the XXI century" is quite wrong. I'll admit not all females are smart. It doesn't give you the right however to call all girls brainless.

Why? When we read, we really get lost in the stories. The heroes become our friends. Is it bad to name your children after friends? I think not. My daughter's middle name is my best friend's middle name. Plus, if they like the name, who are you to judge?

The amount of people throwing hate at teenagers for liking something that honestly in another couple years they'll get over is what makes me lose faith in humanity. Teenagers will be obsessed with stuff, your future children will be obsessed with stuff. I'd just be happy it's with a book series rather than drugs and sex. At least it means they're reading in which a lot of fucking kids don't do.

Elana Davis: Have you, you know, read Twilight? The 2nd book is a travesty that basically says "If you don't have your man, you're worthless" and encourages risky behaviour to catch the eye of the one you like (plus, Bella's MENTAL ILLNESS is romanticized) and the first book glorifies Edward's stalking. There's this constant undercurrent of the implication that Edward is a "bad boy" who can only be saved by Bella's loved. He's lived hundreds of years at not changed his ways, but Bella's, the reader's proxy, love is powerful enough to change and save him. This is an extremely dangerous thing to romanticize for youths. Twilight lead to the mess that is "50 Shades of Grey" whose entire schtick is "Bad boy who can only be saved by YOUR love" and studies show that women who like "50 Shades" are much more likely to have either been in an abusive relationship or enter an abusive relationship after reading "50 Shades". Now I bet that if you did the same study with "Twilight" fans, you'd get similar results, to the frequency of abuse would probably be lower. There's A LOT wrong with the Twilight series if you look at what's actually in them.

Philip Wester Geez, thanks for the summary of everything I already know. Yes I know about Twilight both books and movies. I hate them both. Please get over the idea that I have to like Twilight to defend three sweet teenage girls for liking something for harmless reasons. None of those girls in this video think mental illnesses and obsessing over men to the point of blackmail suicide are good things. They don't have to to like Twilight because anyone who's not blinded by their hate for the movie and books would see that these girls like Twilight for the, "eternal romance" and, "Werewolves and vampires" side to it. Hell, for all I know about these girls maybe they could supply a 30 page essay on why all your reasons for hating Twilight are wrong. I don't care, because the bottom line here is that everybody in the comment section hating on teenagers (And an eleven year old...) for liking a cheesy romance story are making asses of themselves.

Elana Davis considering the themes and "lessons" that Twilight teaches kids, plus the horrible writing style, I would agree with those parents. If I had kids, and caught them reading trash like this, I would ground them and burn the books in front of them and then give them actual literature to read. Doctor Seuss has written better books than this. And yes, I would like a cookie. Chocolate chip, please. I will take peanut butter as a back-up

I like this. It's way better than "someone has to go home crying" - they had the suspense without the actual disappointment. If anything, the "losers" were probably even happier by the surprise. :)

I hate twilight and everything, but imagining my dad doing this with a franchise I'm obsessed by just makes my stomach pinch up. Like, seeing my dad up there trying to answer questions about fullmetal alchemist or something just makes me cringe a little- so as much as I don't respect the sense of taste of these girls, I respect how they could look at the camera! XD I don't think I could.

Well...despite having lousy tastes for loving Twilight, i have to say props to the 3 girls, because they weren't bad losers nor bad winners, so yeah glad to see them having a nice experience, i'm sure that whenever they grow up they will realice how dumb this franchise truly is, but they will never forget the awesome moment they had.

Good to see at least a few reasonable comments like these around. If hating on children who just really like something that was specifically geared towards them makes you a better person than them, then I'd rather be around them than you. And I really dislike children, so that's saying something.

To everyone insulting these girls in the comments: Yes, Twilight sucks. Yes, it has one of the most awful fanbases in the world. Does that give you the right to insult a bunch of adolescent girls about it? No! yeah, they have poor taste. How good was your taste at age 11? By all means, if a Twilight fan is being a dick about it, insult them to your heart's content. These girls have done nothing to you. I get hating Twilight and it's fans can be dicks but calm down. I've gained a somewhat more lenient attitude towards Twilight fans recently, mainly a result of the fact that I was in a relationship with one a couple years ago. The have done nothing to you, lay off.

I must say, I did have a better taste in books when I was 11. Every book I read back then, I would read now. But it's arrogant to look down on people for their tastes, especially children. It makes you a worse adult human being than these kids could ever grow up to be (unless they become criminals but you know what I mean). And if you're a kid hating on them, well then I hope you'll eventually grow out of it like these girls will likely do.

"Renessmee" is the dumbest name ever. This is coming from an Evillious Chronicles fan. In the Evillious Chronicles, there's characters named Ly Li, Neruneru Nerune, Milky Eights, Mewtant Lusha, Sonika Sonic, and Witnes Truth. *Those* names are even better than "Renessmee"

As a vampire fan I read the books before the craze not knowing what they were even about (except the back covers). I find it amusing that the girl on the far right was wrong on how many times Jacob kissed Bella.
