Hey guys! We hope you liked our reaction to Yes! Their performance and song was very fun! Mia and I were dancing and feeling the musicianship! The drumming and vocals were outstanding! The keyboardist was playing two keyboards at the same time! The guitarist and bassist were feeling the music! Their instruments almost sounded like cries of joy! This was a beautiful romantic song from start to finish! We HAD to give a standing ovation! Comment down below if you also gave a standing ovation! We wished we could have seen them perform live! If you'd like to see more reactions like this definitely comment down below! And as always, stay safe and stay tuned for upcoming videos! We love you guys!

Love that you two love this music. It isn't played live like this anymore. This was pure talent, pure musicianship with no electronic tampering. Your description of the musicians "talking" together described it perfectly! Keep digging into the old classic rock songs, mostly from the 70s - best era for music, hands down.

I can beat that, My Friend. Are you ready?😀 I saw Deep Purple at THe Royal Albert Hall in West London with 5,000 others, then Creedence Clearwater Revival, also there, the following week in 1973. Later that year I saw Pink Floyd debut Dark Side Of THe Moon with 18,000 others @Earls Court,West London and saw Led Zeppelin @ Wembley Arena, North London in 1975 to see these 4 World Class Groups in their prime. TOTAL cost: 32.25 or $3(Three Dollars) being 35 Cents x 2 then 1 Dollar and 1.25 Dollars respectively. I saw Yes in 1975 in West London but can't recall the cost:)

I believe this is from the 'Union' tour, in which they combined several lineups of the band. You'll note two keyboard players, two lead guitarists, and possibly 2 drummers. I saw this when they performed 'in the round' at Oakland Coliseum. Try listening to anything from 'The Yes Album', 'Fragile', or 'Close to the Edge'...these had my favorite lineup(s)...the only change was from Tony Kaye to Rick Wakeman on keyboards.

Best concert I ever went to...Yes (and the J. Geils Band) on their 'Fragile' tour in February 1972. Stood in the front row, about three feet from the stage, directly in front of Chris Squire (RIP) and Rick Wakeman. It was one of drummer Bill Bruford's last shows with the band.

I went to the Minneapolis show during this tour '91(Union Tour). The stage was on a round, so it rotated throughout the concert and you got to see every member jamming away. It's the only time I saw Yes live, but the fact it was all the key members from the 70's and 80's made it a once in a lifetime experience.

I have seen this live version of the song before and was blown away. Not too many bands sound this good performing live. This performance will make you appreciate the original version, which you both will need to hear. Sad to say, I have never seen them in concert. They are one of many bands I never get tired of listening to. So glad you both enjoyed the live version of this song. I hope to see more reactions to YES down the road. You will not be disappointed. Love & Blessings! 💖

Yes was formed in the 1960's and rose to fame in the 70's as a British prog rock band... They went thru various line-up changes, but the iconic Yes was the one that recorded 'Roundabout' in the early 70's: Jon Anderson (vocals), Steve Howe (guitar), Rick Wakeman (keyboards), Chris Squire (bass) & Bill Bruford (drums)... Alan White (drums) replaced Bruford in 1973. Yes was famous for their complicated arrangements and epic songs... However, internal conflicts led to the band splintering by 1980... Yes reformed w/ guitarist Trevor Rabin and original keyboardist Tony Kaye added w/ Anderson, Squire and White in the 80's and scored more successful records. This performance was from 1991 when former & current members of Yes performed together on the 'Union' tour... Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman and Bill Bruford are all on stage w/ Anderson, Rabin, Kaye, Squire, and White. Eventually, Trevor Rabin left and Yes began recording and touring w/ Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman in the band in 1996... but more differences led to Rick Wakeman leaving the band... followed by vocalist Jon Anderson quitting... Anderson, Wakeman & Trevor Rabin recently reunited as Yes, but that ended as well... Original singer Jon Anderson has been touring solo recently, playing Yes songs in concert w/ a young band of session players. Unfortunately, both Chris Squire (bass) and Alan White (drums) have recently passed away (R.I.P)... Steve Howe (guitar) has been keeping Yes active, recording & touring w/ a new line-up: Jon Davison (vocals), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Billy Sherwood (bass) & Jay Schellen (drums). Other Yessongs u can check out: 'Siberian khatru'... 'Owner of a lonely heart'... 'Starship trooper'... 'Close to the edge'... 'Going for the one'.

That would be Magma, not Yes. But Magma are not easy to get into, and many don't like their extremely complex music at all. They are best experienced live. Being at a Magma concert is a truly spiritual experience, and it is not just us saying this; many who have been at a Magma concert say the same. They take you to the planet Kobaïa, where (and from the future) they allegedly come from. They even sing in Kobaïan. They created their own style of music called "Zeuhl" (meaning "celestial music" in Kobaïan) which according to the TV channel ARTE who did a feature on them last week is a mixture of jazz, rock, classical, modern avant-garde, rhythm and blues, metal and world music. We would actually add funk, soul and even disco into that mix to describe Zeuhl. The result is totally awesome. Despite their extreme complexity two famous punk musicians are huge fans of the band, John Lydon alias Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols and Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys. But on the other hand it is not that surprising because Magma exude an incredible energy on stage, and when they get REALLY fast they are probably the fastest band in the world. But they have many quiet and slow passages in their music as well. They are pretty much all over the place.

In April of 2022 I saw lead singer Jon Anderson who’s 77 play with the Paul Greene School of Rock musicians, he sounds the same as he did all those years ago. Both Chris Squire (bass) & Alan White (drummer) are deceased even though in this show The Union Tour in 1991 there were two drummers, the 2nd drummer is Bill Bruford, also that very astute of you saying it’s like they were all talking at one time. Do you know what you get when every member of a band is a virtuoso? You get YES. Remember that YES IS BEST!!! You young ladies amazed me with your comment, you should look up why they wrote the song Roundabout I think you’d enjoy it, also YES has many many great songs, actually YES has so many unbelievable great songs that I’m not sure what’s the next song you should be listening too?

First you need a time machine. Then you can see them in concert. I saw them perform in the round (rotating stage) at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, NM, in the '70s. Jon Anderson stood in the center, and when he needed to sing, a microphone was lowered down to him on a cable, and when he wasn't singing they raised it up. At one point it was time for him to sing, and the mic was just out of reach, and he's pretty short, but he leapt up into the air and grabbed it just in time! Another great song from this band is "Long Distance Runaround". It really highlights the talent of bassist Chris Squire (R.I.P.).

Such a joy to see you young people take an interest in this old music,..the live versions can be quite good,..just as a comparison, you should check out the studio,..not just this one,..but songs like Frankenstein, by Edgar Winter, Do You Feel Like We Do, Peter Frampton, but the live album version, its live,..but different from the Midnight Special performance he did,..you can see the contrast, and see which you prefer,..the interesting thing about Frankenstein, is hearing the studio,..and hearing how insane it sounds,..and wondering how they did it,..then seeing Edgar and the band perform it live and seeing how insanely they did it,..the studio of Freebird, Lynard Sknard, same thing,.live you get to see how insanely they did it,..and it will still leave you shocked that they could humanly pull it off.,..Roundabout, yess had that feel of getting up,..running out, yess but to enjoy the summer,..this was the song that played to kick off the summer,..always,..like Hot Fun In the Summertime, Sly and Family Stone,..Schools Out, Alice Cooper,..kick off summer songs,..do keep going,..enjoy Godspeed, Peace ✌

Great choice ladies. Roundabout is one of the better songs of the early 70's. That rhythim section is the hook. They have many great songs along this vein. Like an earlier fan mentioned the Studio version is much better than any live performances I've seen of this song.

I really get a kick out of seeing your reactions. You guys are awesome and RAWK!!! I think that I was much like Mia when I first heard this back in the early 70's. I was blown away and it pretty much pushed me into playing guitar, I'm still playing and enjoying it

My first favorite song...fell in love with it back in the seventies. Good to see it's still finding new fans.

Perhaps the best band in history on many levels. Boomy mix. Doesn't do them justice.

It's a very good rendition live but the studio version is still quite an experience as well. Check it out on your spare time you won't be disappointed.

I love all the combinations of talent Yes has had over the years! I was very fortunate to see them 5 times so far including this lineup on the Union tour!
