I'm 52. When I was a kid I played in the same football team as a fella who went on to play football for England at senior level. When we were hanging around outside the youth club on a Friday evening after school he would come jogging past on his daily run. Whatever the sport, you don't make it by accident.

@randallstubblefield1633 He was. He was the captain of our district football team. He played centre half even though he wasn't that tall. No one ever got past him and he was super composed in possession, no matter the situation. He could be in our six yard box with people flying at him and he looked like he was out for a Sunday stroll. Top player.

Tyreek Hill has elite genetics. He could do a few pushups, situps, pullups, and light running and still would be in the NFL. I'm glad to see that he works hard and sets a good example but this dude was the high school state champion in the 100 meters in GA.
@oglocbaby5202 ай бұрын
A lot of people seem to think these high level pro athletes have some sort of special routine when it's more the reality you mentioned. Most of these people that are naturally gifted would excel in high school and college. However, to take to the level where they are playing in the NFL, NBA, etc. requires a ton of dedicated work. Up to 10% is the difference between a guy getting selected during the draft or being a nobody lol. You could have 2 guys that are both 6'4", 235 and overall similar physically, skill wise, etc. However, take one that can run the 40 yard in 4.65 and the other runs it in 4.9 and one might get an NFL contract and the other was just some guy at the combine lol. If Tyreek had been lazy with his training or perhaps got into drinking, drugs, etc. we probably wouldn't be watching these videos of him.
