The UAD Apollo Solo is an audio interface I wanted to review for a while! I wanted to know is it "elite" or "overhyped". It cost $700 for the thunderbolt 3 macOS version & $500 for the type C Windows version. The MacOS version comes with LUNA & the heritage bundle. One of the biggest cons (depending on where you purchase the interface) is the lack of a thunderbolt 3 cable! Now, with that out the way, it has pretty impressive audio quality (to say the least)! However, the lack of I/O for the price point will have a lot of people in rage at best. Overall, it offers you professional mic pre's and above average software to get you running. Might I add it's one of the few fully compatible audio interfaces for BigSur & the M1 chip! Let's see what Universal Audio's about...
