No it doesn't they don't have enough artillery pieces to afford guns like those to be used on front lines. If they loose one it's like Russia loosing 20 . It used to be 1 Ukrainian artillery piece for every 40-50 Russian ones but the Russians have lost so much equipment because they haven't secured even their own likes so using shoot and scoot is dangerous when a behind enemy lines team pops out with at 4s rp7s and javelins and destroy whole column like they did at beginning of war that's why we kept seeing columns being ambushed they were thinking they can also use a squad of tanks artillery and ifv's to quickly take towns shoot from one town move onto road for next town thinking they can just leave behind 2 ifv and a few units in towns for logistics but they just couldn't secure whole town's well enough that Ukrainians army was so good at sneaking in setting up ambushes and wipijg out the whole team leaving the front line now screwed being cut off . The blitzkrieg only worked so damn well was because the Nazis were either deporting all from a city or forcing them to leave to already captured towns anyone refused was killed due to thinking it was enemy forces

I think they are operating on a defensive position so the crew is short handed. We don’t know why it wasn’t properly placed.

They are providing defensive harassing fire or taking shots at opportune targets as reported to them by a drone operator. You can see the gun commander aiming and adjusting after receiving adjustments. They will fire a few rounds and then push it back into the trees. Smart use of limited weapons. Remember mate that since 2014 we have trained the majority of the re-organised Ukrainian Army across the board under Operation Orbital and that training is now ongoing in the UK, so the regular units have had quality training. Just because you see a gun recoil like that, don't assume its because they are stupid or inefficient; this is deliberate. They are doing this with this and other systems like the 60mm mortar all along their defensive lines, it keeps the Russians guessing and confused and preserves weapons but it also is very effective as the drone operators can provide very accurate lat/longs obviously.

You can repeat this many times until the destruction of Washington. But this will not help Ukraine

It seems to me, you are wrong. This is IMHO a 100mm anti-tank gun MT-12 fired in a relativ high angle. You can see the patronized ammunition/grenade shells. But the bigger problem in my opinion is, that they fired valuable ammunition (may be BM-24) in the sky instead into tanks.

In 2014, pro-russian rebels took Sloviansk but Ukrainians pushed them out a few months later. Now, in 2022, the whole russian army hasn’t been able to take Sloviansk yet.

They have regained more territory than they have lost since February. They are toying with Russia now, seeing how they react to announcing a push in Kherson and watching Russia shift it's resources over there where they have everything sighted in now and will further bleed them dry as Russia fights for it instead of trying to make a smart withdrawal.
