After the defeat of France earlier the year, the Free French Navy is
operating primarily out of Gabon, Africa. Just before the total collapse of French forces in Europe, a huge French battleship by the name of Forteresse, was deployed out of Corsica to Equatorial Africa.
By now, it's 1941, and the Kriegsmarine has found the Forteresse and its cruiser escorts off the coast of Brazil. The Kriegsmarine have been ordered to sink the Forteresse because of the damage its causing to Panzerschiffs like Deutschland. The Forteresse and its escorts are badly outnumbered...
