Thank you so much for the kind words! And no they don’t cost less but what I’m doing is waiting for roughy 1 sec before I roll again, because if you roll with 51 stam instead of 50 you don’t completely empty the bar. So as long as you space out your rolls, you can technically roll forever

@@zinmeca9754 In the end you can build mix or hard on your primary and it won't change too much just go for the perks you want and favor whatever weapon you favor more. For min/maxing it gets messy

@@zinmeca9754 The way I take it is push for at least 50pts between Int and Dex, and then when you near soft cap, mix stats to minimize diminishing returns. The attribute system seems to work similar to a Souls game from OP’s description.

Thank you so much dude honestly, the words mean alot. Ideally for any ranged setup its essential that you close the gap as soon as humanly possible and apply as much pressure as possible, so that means literally double rolling into a fleche if you have to to close that gap because when theyre at range they are comfortable. For the fire staff dash what I try to do is as soon as I close the cap I try and land an Ice shower because either 1. it'll net you a kill or 2. it'll hinder they ability to fully dash away, you wont win every fight because that matchup is super hard but thats what I try to do!

@@SebKrogh I'm still leveling, but this is what I did. Storm and spike... I may pick up the tomb later, but for now I prefer the damage abilities

@@liquidmojo1439 tomb is invaluable for something like aoe farm and stuff but I think spike will be bis for pvp

@@SebKrogh entomb is a good mid fight reset, stall out time for your cooldowns while baiting out their cooldowns, storm is way too buggy rn anyways. Until they fix it I don’t see it being more useful than entomb personally

Ultimate chill, and then max out the passives for entomb

I don’t do wars, generally like to solo roam for pvp but I ALWAYS am wearing the setup even while farming mobs, so that I can be constantly practicing combos and timing

@@DanzoPVP Have you experienced the soft lock on bug when you're evading? You basically have no control over your camera controls? How do you fix this? I've tried turning on and off targeted healing but it doesn't work. Really putting me off the rapier. Also what do you think of Rapier/musket combo compared to the Rapier/IG or Firestaff?

The stats on your gear and weapon add up to your total attributes on stat page. So all you need to worry about is your total stats, if for example you have 20 more int than you want and you are missing 20 dex, switch out an int piece for dex. All that matters is your total stats

This is interesting. I chose the gem that converts to void damage. I figured other folks might be gemming to mitigate frost damage, so I went with non frost on the rapier. It scales with intellect so I figured it would be fine. I may swap it out if it benefits from the gauntlet passives though.

but remember, corrupted enemys are super strong against ice dmg, tip: have two weapons with different gems, one with ice for pvp and one with sapphire that is arcane dmg, because no enemy in game is strong against arcane but they are not weak against arcane

how does this work? your rapier pokes give the chill debuff and give you 35% dmg? or you have to put them in the ice shower to make this work? the ice dome is bugged now, if u put the dome down and change your weapon it goes away so i dont really know how you would maximize the uptime on ultimate chill with aquamarine

@@Phospion They have to be in ice shower, ice storm, or have been affected by any ice ability in the last 3 seconds. So any ice ability would work for 3 seconds. To prevent the ice storm from disappearing, you just don't take the last perk. But IG just got nerfed/changed a bunch in 1.0.4 so I haven't retested any of this. I heard heavy chill and ultimate freeze are acting in some strange ways now so probably needs re-testing.

That bug Is caused by the last talent for storm. Just don’t pick that talent until they fix bug

Thank you! Yes it will, sorry if it was confusing but yes full dex is the highest damage potential but when running an intelligence weapon with the build you cannot go full dex. So the question becomes is dex with int vs full int better and that’s what I was trying to say

@@DanzoPVP theoretically you COULD go full dex using your secondary for mostly utility. I have been trying this out with IG/rapier and worst part is that you get kited so hard by mages think I will go mostly into int just to prevent that. Do you use this in wars as well?
