I've only charged the battery 4 times since buying the unit. I charged completely when I got it and every time I finished a job. This time, when trying to charge the red light just blinks, and it's not charging. It's a new battery. I just bought this in May. Any ideas before I purchase a replacement. I just wonder if it's the battery or the charger that isn't working?

I hope to start spraying next season. What are your thoughts on backpack sprayers as primary sprayers in small properties? Would you recommend a certain sprayer? BTW, thank you for supporting my channel!

Lawn Care Little Guy so with any pro nitrogen, most need to be applied with a lot of water... these do decent, and the 4 gallons 105E does great.... they do clog a little, but by if you mix them down with water (around a 7-1 mixture) they usually aren’t many problems. For the bio stims these products are solid no worries. I know the Solo backpacks are pretty stout, but they are about dbl the cost. What size of properties and what products do you plan on spraying?

@@TheGreenerLawn my average lawn is about 5000 sq ft and herbicides and fertilizer. That mat be more general than you were asking but i havent looked at many products yet. Still focusing on my license. Im am 0laying the student so im open to any advice. Maybe you could do a applicators 101 video?

Lawn Care Little Guy good call, that would be an easy winter project... I could get that done.. so weed and fungicides will rock out of a sprayer..... nitrogen usually needs the water as a a carrier, but if you split app them, it’s not too bad... let me wrap up som projects and I’ll put together a video....👍🏻

Thanks for this video. I also bought this sprayer from Pete @ GCI. Still waiting for it to get warm enough outside to calibrate. Quick question, do you know if there is a better spray gun available for the BL25E? I've watched videos with power washer type sprayers attached that seem to give you a wider spray pattern and also look more ergonomically pleasing to use. Not sure if something like that is available for this unit.

Keith Ecklund II Understood, that is why I didn’t pick it up! I get a 5ft swath outta my 110 degree nozzle. So it works well for me as it was outta the box!

@@TheGreenerLawn At the end of the day 5 ft is pretty beastly in itself. That's about 3ft wider than my Ortho handcan. I suppose I should learn the tool first before trying to get all crazy with it. Thanks for the reply.

Hey bro, now that you got some time with it, do you think about the 4 gallon chapin we see people using or this one? I think i like this one (honestly has a sleeker body style lol) but want to know your thought before u buy one! Thx! Oh also noticed they have a 2 or 3 different sprayers like this but i cant tell the difference in them. Thanks for all you do!

I really like this sprayer. I have never even touched or compared the Chapin at all... I will say, the LCN knows his stuff..... and I don’t believe he would steer people wrong for a $..... I know he did a solid review of it, but I never watched it as I have my BL25E. Sprayers plus does have a 4G backpack model also, so this one is not a direct comparison. For my yard I am at 1.6 tanks to get a solid application down with my calibration, and it’s spot on for me (I want 1/8 of a gallon left and this setting does it well, I put a little goodness down in certain areas as I go). So with the different models, the are rated for different chemicals that go into them. This one has a higher rating for caustic chemicals, I feel it helps the longevity of the seals. Would I get this one again.... yes, I would for sure. You can get different nozzles (like Pete’s from gci turf, that will change the application rates and time). Let me know if I can clarify!

Hi, Have you ever had a problem with it clogging up or losing pressure when applying Prodiamine?

Tom Higbee So my guess is the prodiamine your using is the WDG (wettable Dispersible granular)? If that is the case use these steps to minimize clogging: 1- take a small container with a lid (like Tupperware or a gator aid bottle... etc), fill it 1/2 way with water , add your Prodiamine add water till 3/4 full... shake that really well till the granular product is liquid, then do your tank 1/2 full add your dissolved liquid and fill tank to full level. 2- if you have a larger yard or are taking a while, shake your sprayer about once ever 5-10 min to agitate it. 3- don’t leave it in your sprayer for later use... take and put it in another container or better mix exact amounts your going to use.. Hi and thanks for creating this video. Its been 3 years since you had it and now its on sale. How does it work? Supposedly they have better seals now. does you still work?

I like it. But here is some background. I have had two, one fell of the back of my truck and broke. Cons: I have reached out to sprayers plus and they have never gotten ahold of me back. I reached out as a creator and a customer, I have bought two (both) from them, and they didn’t respond to issues I had. I had the straps Frey and it didn’t work out of the box, and they didn’t respond (I haven’t tried in 1.5 years to get ahold of them). But over all it hasn’t had any issues that stoped it from working. Even the one that fell works, just the lid broke… ohh that was the other reason I reached out to replace that… nope… had to buy another one.

I need to spray pure bleach.this looks like the best unit for that.Bought it.It arrives soon.i will wash it out after use.This looks awesome.$129.

docfaceful as far as battery powered Options, this one tops the list. If you want a hand pump one there are cheaper alternatives.... but battery power is super slick and I would go with this unit!

What is the main difference between the BLE25E and the YT25E? And can I use bleach in the YT25E? I'm trying to decide between the two

C McBride yes exactly. The bleach, which is why I went for this one, because I felt it would hold up better to chemicals and things (air8 that I use is super acidic) being put in it. So far go good. All you get for the price difference is the ability to hold caustic solutions. Yes on the YT with a bleach of 5%, the BL will do 1:3 dilution ratio.

C McBride ohh for sure! That’s what’s nice about it, it lasts longer that way I feel. I have the TeeJet nozzles that GCI recommands. However I purchased this BL25e afterwards had a sprayer already and adapted GCI's recommended nozzles fine. When I got the BL25e I can't seem to match the correct fitting to replace the BL25's tips to the pro nozzle assembly which is a 1/4". Does anyone know what the wand to tip threads are? If you want to use TeeJet nozzles you can switch to this QuickJet Check Valve Nozzle Body, Nylon 1/4" NPT, Max 300 PSI www.sprayersupplies.com/qj8355-1-4-nyb-teejet-a6241332

Thanks good to know. I'll tell you after not getting a peep out of Sprayerspluss or GCI I just put some gas/oil resistant sealant on the M18 that was a hair larger and think I'll be done with it. I've ordered two more kits of the wide tip and narrow and spent less than $20. I never imagined this recommended Sprayersplus rig would be so difficult to adapt to. Thanks for your reply and time.

I meant to say also that the TeeJet nozzles don't atomize the water droplets as much. The TeeJet manages the water droplets so you get it just where you want it and very low drift of product. I'm happy with them very much so.

I just unboxed mine.The instructions are horrible..I noticed inside the tank I also have another yellow notification card on a orange rubbery thing at the bottom of the tank. Do i take the orange one off? I also have a black stiffer one with a filter in plastic.Thanks in advance

Randy Man ok... to answer the questions, orange one in there is the storage cap for the inside so it doesn’t dry up. Yes, you need to remove that one and put the black one in, but face the screen down in the hole, not up... it will leave fluid in the tank.
