I think you will like the updated version they just released. It now includes a 1kg and 0.5 kg plate , letting you hit 0.5kg increments (including 13kg and 31kg). According to their KZfaq video, it is a new mold that is officially different than Kettlebell Kings and other companies. The new version comes with an extra washer to help you get the weights in the center. Downside is that the US version of the new version is $299 instead of $250. Bright side is that you can order just the 12-20.5kg set for $199 USD and then buy the extra plates later.

Love my comp adjustable bells. The other aspect of replacing all those other bells is the fact that nobody sells those odd number weights (at least to my knowledge). So you are getting access to weights that do not exist elsewhere.

I’ve been using the titan fitness version of these. One thing nobody mention’s when reviewing these is that with an extra nut you can easily center the weight and or adjust the center of gravity up and down inside the bell ( at least until you get it full or mostly full) Great videos, and really appreciate your work, thank you.
@cucciafr68
@cucciafr68 2 жыл бұрын
It is a nice addition. Especially since the plates don't contour to the inside of the bell the way the KBKs does. If you don't adjust that other nut the plates can rattle which eventually loosens the outer nut. I might get a lock washer to combat this.

Hello Mark, great video as always and I wish I had known about these adjustable bells before purchasing my extensive kettlebell collection. I wonder if you are willing to do a video about club training with traditional wooden clubs. I do movements with heavy meels/joris/mudgars/karlai. While there are some notables who speak excellently to traditional techniques, such as Paul Wolkowinski, I imagine there here are a lot of benefits to using methods and stances from modern heavy clubs. I would be very interested to see your take on synthesizing the best of the old with the best of the new modalities.. Thank you once again -- your videos are always informative and succinct.

Been using BOS Powder KB and Blitz Air Bike for years. High quality products at a reasonable price. (Added bonus I live in the same city). The Powders have rusted a little, while my White Lion KB have no signs of rust. If I was hurting for space and didn’t mind the adjustment, I would have no hesitation going with these.

It will take them 3 pr more months to get back in stock, the real issue right now is shipping becasue it's so hard to find containers. If you go on alibaba you can actually find the supplier, specs and pricing. If you REALLY want one say your a potential buyer and want a sample. It was going to cost about $500 to have one shipped directly. If you REALLY REALLY want one like that I could probably find the contact info for the guy, let me know. I have 3 of the adjustable titan comp bells which are a very similar design to the kettlebell kings/bells of steel but don’t seem to be as nice. They don’t adjust the quickest but are solid and feel good in my hands (after I sanded the handles) and rack great. They’re comfortable. I haven’t tried the iron masters but they don’t look like they would feel nearly as comfortable against my forearms.

Nice product concept. My concern would be the seam where the two halves of the shell meet. The durability, especially when using two for the double movements, when the bells might knock together over time. One wouldn't want the seam to warp, dent or chip, resulting in a rough surface that might abrade the arms and inner thigh with each rep. Perhaps a hard rubbber gasket ream at the seam would prevent this? Otherwise, a great idea!

Please get a 92 kg kettlebell cast iron bell unboxing and a little bit about what kind of exercises you would do with it. I can only think about how much core you get from a single arm cheat clean and press . Deadlift gorilla Rows and chest press. As far as exercises that could be done in a higher rep ranges. One arm snatches only once a windmill only once a side being pressed only once if you're lucky and have the mobility for the side bent press . Deconstructing a Turkish get up only doing part of it. No complexes it would drain too much energy. I would mainly just stick with the press.

I bought my second Bells of Steel Adjustable Kettle bell a couple months ago. Unfortunately this one had 2cm steel ridge on the inner handle that I had to sand down (not a quick process). Not the end of the world, but something that could have been avoided if the product was checked properly, as it was a functional rather than cosmetic issue. Maybe a one off, as my other kettlebell had no issues. Great product otherwise though.

@cucciafr68
@cucciafr68 2 жыл бұрын
The plates are contoured to fit the inside of the bell, so if you use the correct plates, the nut holds them pretty tight. My Titan fitness adjustable bell on the other hand has normal shaped plates. So they use a second nut on the inside to sandwich the plates between. If you don't then the plates will rattle and the nut will loosen. It can be slightly annoying.

Does anyone really buy the huge numbers of kettlebells that you’re suggesting though? Most people have a few not 18? The major benefit is space saving. Nice enough idea and looks like a quality package. The adjustment isn’t that convenient though? I can’t imagine fiddling with a wrench mid workout?
@cameronmiller6240
@cameronmiller6240 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not so much that you change the weights mid workout it’s that you can incrementally increase the weight every few weeks or months rather than buying a new kettlebell. The downside of having a few is it’s a big jump from 16 to 24kg or even from 16 to 20kg...I personally have about 6 kettlebells and they take up a lot of space and cost a lot in shipping etc
@cucciafr68
@cucciafr68 2 жыл бұрын
It takes about 1.5 minutes to change. The longest parts is doing the math to optimize which weights to use. If I have two exercises per workout then that is just two changes I have to do, one at the start of the workout and one during the rest time between exercises. It's a little bit more in depth than changing plates on a barbell but you do it way less times.

Are you using more than one weight per exercise? It takes a minute or two to change. You can do this between exercises. I have several hard style bells that I purchased before I knew this was a thing, so I tend to use those for ease of use but when I need to get to all those odd number weights or want do double KB work (that isn't 16kg or 20kg) I can use my adjustable bells.

If you're on a budget and need bells, the adjustable KB is a great option. But I agree with you I much prefer using regular competition bells in a variety of weights; it makes transitioning from weight to weight so much more enjoyable.
