Chances are that if the chiefs have managed to make it to 4 superbowls and win 3 of them are the facilities and training staff really that bad or are these grades exaggerated by the players? Not saying it shouldn't be looked into but seriously ask the question is it really that bad if it hasn't kept you from being the top dogs out of 32 professional teams? You only need what helps you achieve the main goal which is to win superbowls.

The 'we won the Superbowl so we don't need to improve anything on what we're doing' is how you don't win the next Superbowl. Many of the players have been in other NFL team's facilities, not to mention top level college facilities. They aren't oblivious. If you aren't improving, you are falling behind, and at this level every advantage matters. NFL teams are making so much money, there is no excuse why they shouldn't have an adequate training facility, strength and conditioning staff, nutritionist, etc. Having an elite QB (or THE elite QB) and head coach can make up for a lot of deficiencies, but that isn't an excuse to allow deficiencies to continue.

@Hibbidyhai I'm not saying don't improve. I'm saying only improve what NEEDS improving. If it's not NEEDED, then it's not a priority. And putting a letter grade to it doesn't prove anything to me. The point is that Ocho was once a great player as well so it's not like he's dumb. It proves that not all players perceive things the same way. Some of these players may just be putting these grades just for the sake of being honest but may not actually feel truly affected by the quality of things. A lot of these players get shit done themselves and don't actually need updated provisions from the organizations. And you can't make comparisons to organizations that had entirely new stadiums/facilities built over the past 10 -15 years. Of course those organizations are gonna have the most up to date stuff. For one, most other organizations have had a far larger market in general and thus have had more leeway to spend more frivolously on renovations and provisions. Case in point the Dallas cowboys. Jerry Jones had a whole new stadium built back in 2009 and it literally got them nowhere except to exacerbate the clown culture they have going on down there. All amenities and no wins.

Just because Dallas didn't win after a new stadium doesn't mean the Chiefs don't have discipline to thrive with a better facility. Upgrade what the players need and leave out the fluff. The huge problem with Unc's argument here is a nutritionist for the entire team wouldnt work. Every single individual player needs a different diet for themselves, one blanket diet for the entire team flat out wont work. Each player should hire their own personal dietician, not one single one that the team supplies. Do you really think that WR's and Linemen should be eating the same thing? A team has about 100 personnel to feed between roster, practice and staff. That would be far too many people added to just the kitchen staff to support all of that. Plus, everyone knows most people in KC enjoy the BBQ anyways.
