The funniest part is tht if the purrely player really thought about typhon, he wouldve 100% wiped during ep to not turn on thrust. So even as a 1700(which doesnt matter), he still misplayed before his misplay

He also misplayed his prior turn at 5:20. Rather than making anima he should have ranked up into beauty and go battle phase, negate soul of rage then activate pretty, attach pretty then change battle position of abominable, attack abom then MP2 downerd zeus. If he summons abom during EP then you just zeus wipe, so he obviously won't summon abom, pass turn. During opp turn zeus wipe immediately, unchained now has 1 card vs a live zeus.

Something super nasty about Typhon is that if you're going second and your opponent has Nibiru and holds it for max value, you can go Typhon at the end to turn it off.

I know this guy in person. During the last OTS at my city, he borrowed me 2 cards (cheap cards, luckily). After getting warned with a game loss during round 1 because he forgot to bring the deck list, he scribbled it down and proceeded for game 2. During the same round, the judge came back and gave him a match loss because the list was wrong (around 35 cards main). The guy tilted, yelled at everyone blasphemies of every kind and then got banned from the store forever. Of course, I didn't get my cards back.

@@NoSoyTuerto I'm a bit confused, which quick pop are you referring to? Unchained was on topdeck mode with Abominable that doesn't do anything by itself. Whichever card you play, Zeus will wipe the board and get more than 1 card with 2 materials.

Activate field spell doesn't work because then unchained player chains soul of rage to link off purrelyly into SP which banishes field spell. Purrely now has 2 cards vs sp banish, escape pop and yama reviving a fella, pop that same fella then special abom from deck to pop another card. Impossible to crack with 2 cards unless they misplay badly

10:00 Honestly 3 seconds is super fast for DB. Random slowdowns or lag spikes happen all the time. The guy easily could've been safe by typing "M1" or something and then doing it. I think blue misplayed but it's still a close call and they weren't given a lot of time to think what phase they wanted to wipe. They should say something about thinking anyway though.

The clear indication of a misplay is that he literally waited for 20 secs for his first response after his opponent entered main, and 12 secs after seeing the Typhon. Clearly he was surprised and probably swearing to himself before then coming up to the idea of "you don't give me time" and calling judge. If it was a lag, then his first response should be "wait I was lagged out, I want to do something in sb". Clearly it's not a lag. And the optimal play is Zeus in his EP anyway as other has pointed out.

@@hirukashiro5995 Totally agree. Just saying they shouldn't expect 3 seconds to the M1 to be seen as reasonable. They're lucky it was a little more obvious here but even like 10 seconds on DB does not translate well to 10 seconds in real life.

Thing is you need to wait for the other player to accept to move phase. You can't move phase to phase in 1 sec. This is not how the game is played.

this is how the game is played , if both players dont ask each other for phases on db then its agreed they wont ask for the whole match (people need to also remember db has different rules then irl)

you can easily say thinking in draw/standby before/quickly after you passed turn. Also, as many others have pointed out, if he actually remembered about Ty-phon, he would have wiped on his own end phase to avoid playing into Thrust.
