Universal Studios, FLORIDA! Well, it finally happened! I've finally visited Universal Studios Florida, camera in hand for another Randomland Adventure! The ET Ride, The Universal Monsters, Diagon Alley, It's all here! I've been to Universal only one other time on my last trip to Florida, but just to quickly walk through and get my ticket for this trip. I procrastinated a lot for filming at universal partly because I haven't delved as deeply into its history as many other spots, and partly because so many people have asked me when I'm going to do it that I felt no single video could meet expectations! But I couldn't wait forever, so this is my first REAL look at the park in the light of day, camera in hand, checking out as much as I possibly could before sundown. On our next trip to Florida we're definitely going to be spending a little more time in Universal, especially since there's a whole OTHER Universal park to explore next door. I don't know why I'm still typing! Universal is a different animal to Disney. Most of their rides are much more directly tied into big © movie franchises with screens and audio and soundtracks straight from the movies, not to mention 3D and other non-camera-friendly features, so it's not shown on film, but we also rode The Mummy, Escape from Gringotts, Forbidden Journey, Jurassic Park river adventure, King Kong, Cat in the Hat, etc etc. So we definitely familiarized ourselves a little bit and got our bearings. Can't wait to see more next time!
