What's great about this design is that it eliminates air starvation that other designs impose at highway speeds. It's also unobtrusive and eliminates that big bulge on the fender. :)

I agree though I wish I they offered a less costly fiberglass version as well.

@@AZOverland2017 I think fiberglass would make a lot of sense if you were to color match things. And, yes, it would be less expensive. I think with the color of this vehicle, CF (or a similar option in fiberglass) makes perfect sense.

It would be hard to gauge snorkel performance, but the owner did tell me that there was no wind noise, and the 4Runner is performing as it should after the install. He did do a trail shortly after the install that had water crossings and the snorkel is doing what it is designed to do.

It's awesome. It allows the truck to get all the air it needs. It keeps the filter much cleaner.

Love the design of the snorkel just wish they would offer a non carbon version.

Agreed! I wrote the company asking if they had plans for a different material (fiberglass, etc.) same style snorkel that have the option to be painted and would be more cost efficient. Unfortunately they have not responded.

@@AZOverland2017 I think that option would make a LOT of sense because that color and fabric used for this snorkel looks amazing on certain vehicle colors. It might not look as good on others. And, if you do color match to the vehicle, there's no reason to spend all that money on CF that will be covered up.
