Waiting on Scan Guage 2. 2020 Tundra with No cooler (Thanks Toyota) . We tow alot for camping and this will be perfect to monitor the trans temp.

Yes, I read when refilling the transmission oil on some Toyotas it needs to be in a specific temperature range. This will definitely be useful in that situation. Thank you.

Thank you! Yes, I am considering a few different options. For now, I am really interested in watching the transmission and coolant temps during all scenarios. I suspect I will be heading towards adding a tranny cooler, but as a test, I want to see what the 4Runner is capable of as it sits. Risky? Yes, perhaps, but I still am curious to see before I interfere

@@AZOverland2017 Sandy Cats did an excellent video on this topic. He also runs an insanely heavy rig. Also, a 4Runner's peak transmission temperature is around 190 degrees, which is about 20 degrees lower than most vehicles' average running temperatures. And, since you're going "to the dark side," have you considered installing Wilwood 6-piston front brakes with upgraded rotors? Hmm??? (Hint, clue.) :))

@@InGratitudeIam No to the brake upgrade for now. Yes, I suspect the 4Runner will get in the 220 range here in the summer going up mountains. I need to be careful. That rig Sandy Cats built is a monster and well thought out. You know where my next big $$ upgrade is going. Shh

I have installed and works great on my 20 Tundra. Thanks for the video. Question, do you know if you can move the data from say the upper right corner to the upper left corner? Where I have it installed is great but I have to lean a bit to read the upper or right side data. Thanks
