We have a 2000 Silverado. The after market radio died on us, so we decided to put the original radio back into the truck. To our surprise LOC came up, even though we never installed a lock code. So, we found this video and decided to try it, after our local Chevy dealer wanted $60 to give us the code. This video absolutely worked. We did exactly as it said, and now our old radio is working as it always did. Thanks for saving us the money it would have cost at the dealer. God Bless You.

I can't believe this still works. After being uploaded on 2014 I was still able to unlock my 1999 s10 radio. I would have thought gm would have deleted those codes. Anyway thanks for the help!

Most often by the time I need things like this, the codes are expired or changed. I really only half hoped it would work. Much to my joy it took a total of 5 minutes and my radio works again! Thank you so much, Liked and subscribed!!

If lnop pops up when you hit min an hr buttons let vehicle run for an hour then cut vehicle off turn key back to acc or on then hit min button it works like a charm so thankful for this video

I concur, your volume is really bad... I DO NOT have a LOC displayed on my screen nor does it have SEC, it just has the time display and when i turn my radio on it just gives me the time and if its AM/FM ST- it doesn't display the radio station number itself unless I change the station (mine looks like the radio on the bottom of the video) the tutorial didn't work for me the only thing that populated when I pushed the 2 buttons were 3 blank lines, no numbers and when i pushed and held down the AM/FM button the same thing happened...3 lines. So I was unable to get the 6 number to call and reset my radio, any suggestions? My radio is exactly like the one in the video any help please. Thank you.

My 2000 suburban I don't know how I found this code but mine was 001-100 first set of numbers I hit the minute key to get the one at the end then I hit the AM FM button then I hit the hour to get the one first and then I think I hit the AM FM button but it does say SEC and then the radio is unlocked just wish I could have found the video to this code because you don't have to call any number you don't have to talk to gm at all I think this is the universal code to this radios but I have watched six or more of these videos and they need to remove them off of KZfaq especially the ones that say call the 1-800 number does not exist anymore and you don't need to call GM you could try typing in or VIN to the GM site I didn't try that but good luck everyone that's my input
