Hi friends, happy Monday!
Welcome back to Murder, Mystery & Makeup! Today, we’re discussing the mysterious death of Jaleayah Davis. Police claim her death was nothing more than a horrific car accident. However, Jaleayah’s family and others think that there’s more to this case than meets the eye. What really happened at mile marker 181, and will we ever know? Either way, Jaleayah definitely deserves some justice.
Also, let me know who you want me to talk about next time. Hope you have a great rest of your week, make good choices and I'll be seeing you very soon

This is my home town. What was left out was that every single one of the “friends” with her that night had multiple affiliation’s to law enforcement state trooper, sheriff, city cop etc. as well as her clothes underneath the jacket were FOLDED and hung over the guard rail. I’ve never talked to another person in my town about this case that believes it’s anything but a cover up. Her family deserves justice but will sadly never get it.

So the police concluded that she hit the railing hard enough that she was thrown out of the driver's seat, and right through the passenger side window, so violently that she was decapitated and her clothes flew off? But all her makeup and clothes just stayed neatly on the passenger seat through all this? And then her car just drove calmly by itself through two bends in the road before stopping? Yeah sounds like top notch detective work.

Anybody else stuck on her sister hearing her say "give me my keys!" On the phone, then Kristin turns up with her keychain a couple days later? And Kristin is the one that dropped her to the gas station because she didn't want her to drive, but then she somehow managed to get her car? And the clothes were 'pulled off her body by her car' but draped neatly over the guardrail? And she was supposedly thrown out of her car by the crash, but the stuff in the passenger seat was still perfectly placed? SO many inconsistencies that aren't adding up here.

And COINCIDENTALLY, the airbag system had been failing for one whole day before the accident that it couldn't tell if there were other people in the car. Sounds like a paid mechanic to me. Those police officers and their children and grandchildren know what happened to this girl.

I am a crash reconstructionistand I've investigated enough fatal crashes to know that that Depts. findings and description of what happened are horseshit. Everything you said about her flying out of the car then hitting her own windshield, all of that are impossible. Physics would show and any crash reconstruction formula would prove all of that impossible. First just a simple fact that everyone can understand, the damage is to the passenger side which means she's on the right hand shoulder. So, if she were on the right hand shoulder out the passenger side, how would her body get hit by traffic on the other side of her car? It wouldn't. I used to be a police officer, and a crash investigator but they are absolutely 100% wrong if what you said is accurate. Love your channel by the way, I've only been here a few days.

If I step on my brake too hard, EVERYTHING on my passenger seat flies to the floor... Every time. But this girl hits a guard rail at 70mph, she's dragged from the drivers seat and against the guard rail before being ejected, but the things on her seat are still neatly placed? NOPE! Besides the rest of it not making sense, that would be enough to convince me of foul play. RIP to that beautiful young lady and I hope her family finds peace someday.
@blasiandumplin
@blasiandumplin 2 ай бұрын
Exactly! I put my purse or groceries in the passenger seat & if i so much as press my break pedal too hard it ALL goes to the floor boards. Even some stuff on the backseat also. I found this strange af too. If the detectives even dug a little bit into this fact they would see what the truth really is. They could’ve at least put some makeup or a purse or something on the passenger seat & drove the same MPH as she did, & break hard/fast & would see themselves that it would’ve went all over the place, or at LEAST on the floor board! It saddens me they didn’t even investigate this fact or any further😢. Rip to her, it’s such an injustice they did to her & her family with this case.

Telling your parent that your sibling/their child is gone is one of the absolute hardest things I have ever had to do. Especially when it’s so unexpected and sudden. You can barely wrap your head around what’s happening, let alone see a part of your parents soul leave their body. It is completely true what they say, a piece of the parent dies with their child. I used to be so sad that my mom passed so young. Seeing what my dad endured, actually brought me some peace that my mom didn’t have to experience that. Sadly, it was also too much for my dad and he drank to cope. 3 years later that took a toll and he was gone as well. My heart breaks for this family and all families who have tragically found themselves in similar situations as ours. Sending love, strength, and prayers.

From my experience, serious accident or death that happens after a night out that involved an altercation is usually considered a red flag, and the surviving member of the altercation is usually considered a suspect, especially if that person has a history of violent behaviour. Jaleayah being dropped off to the guy's place makes me think maybe there was unwanted advances towards Jaleayah, that would understandably make her upset and want someone safe to come get her. It also seems really weird why the friends would claim the victim drinking a LOT, as if to make the car accident theory an easy answer. Jaleayah also mentioned on the phone with the sister that there was something to the story already, why she was upset ("What happened? - I'll explain later"), wanting the sister to pick her up - seems unlikely for her to drive at all. All of this makes the car accident theory less likely for me. Whether any of the friends had any involvement at all, the whole case sounds sus af and clearly needs more thorough investigation. Maybe the friend lawyered up from the guilt of dropping her friend off alone or whatever. I hope the family gets answers. It definitely would be respectful for the law enforcement to have a proper look at her case.

Bailey, thank you so much for covering this case. I am from Williamstown, I went to school with Jaleayah and I think about her and her case a lot. At the end of the day, accident or not, she did not get the investigation she deserved. I also think it’s important to note that this is a VERY white community- I think all the time about how differently the investigation would’ve gone if this had happened to a young white girl. Kim and Taubi and the rest of Jaleayah’s loved ones deserve closure of some kind and it breaks my heart that they haven’t gotten it.

Jesus Christ, there are videos here on YT of accidents with people's clothes and shoes flying off. Get some life experience, study some physics, learn some psychology about how much family can be in denial & then you will see how ridiculous your conspiracy theories are. You're only feeding into the families delusions and harassment of innocent people. You're all the reason why we need the innocence project.

Hoping that it'd look like a accident. I also am curious if there's any camera in town that'd see her car pass by and if anyone was tailing her. Wouldn't there be a camera at the gas station? I don't live far from where this all happened, and this case has weighed heavily on my heart ever since. 💔 I pray that her family lives to see justice, and that the "friends" are eaten alive with guilt every day. The corruption in this case is STRONG, but since all the people involved all have family ties to law enforcement, they've gotten to walk free and live life as if nothing ever happened. 🥺 That sweet girl and her family didn't deserve any of this.

I’ve been in 11 accidents in my 20 years of life. One where I was driving, I was t-boned on the passenger side. The side impacted was touching my shoulder by the time the accident was said and done. They estimate I was hit between 50-70 mph as the driver never applied their breaks and was speeding. I’ve seen some really crazy stuff with some of the accidents I’ve been in or witnessed where the car didn’t appear as damaged as it should’ve been, but the reason I brought up that fairly severe accident of my own was to share how hurt I was. When impacted, my head was bounced off of three airbags like a ping pong ball, which I sustained a concussion from, but due to how the momentum traveled, if those airbags had failed to deploy, my head would’ve went through the drivers side window. As she was supposedly impacted in the same area in what seems like going the same direction, it’s likely her head or body would’ve went through the driver’s side window, not the passenger as the motion wouldn’t have likely taken her that way. Secondly, other than my concussion and bruises on my hip bones from the seat belt, I had no visible scratches, bruises, or gashes following the accident. In fact, only one of the accident I’ve ever been in caused anymore than under the clothes bruising and/or a concussion. My point in saying that is to recognize that with the low severity of damage to the car, it’s highly likely a passenger could’ve walked away from this. Thirdly, in every single one of the accidents I’ve been in and following science, we know that when a car takes impact, it moves from it’s directed path to the direction of impact, at least slightly. If she were to have hit the guard rail and flown out, the car would’ve veered directions. When I was t-boned, my car was facing the other persons. In another accident where my mom t-boned someone else, the other car was almost entirely facing away from ours. If she were going at that rate of speed when she hit the guard rail, the car wouldn’t have continued straight on the road in the first place. Let alone navigate itself through the crooks in the road. An accident may be the only thing they have hard evidence for, but it’s certainly not the most likely option.

My mum is a health and life science lecturer and I’ve learned a lot about biology because of her which has helped me to understand forensics too. I also get frustrated when they do a blood alcohol level on a c*orpse because blood ferments in an unalived body which would give a false impression of alcohol intake. So many people’s reputations have been smeared because of this- not to mention their loved ones.

Here is a list of things that dont make sense to me. 1. If her friends dropped her off at the gas station, how did she get her car? 2. If the impact of the collision was so bad that it flung her out of the passanger window (which i still have a hard time understanding, coz automatically i would assume that someone would get flung out of the windshield), how is the car so minimally damaged. 3. If she had her car, wouldn't she have called her sister to tell her that she didnt need to be picked up anymore? 4. If she was hanging out of the car, when it hit the guard rail and it pulled her out, wouldn't there be blood all along the passenger side of the car? This story is just crazy unreal, and if the cops wanted to cover up im sure they could have done a better job with the lies. They're absolutely complacent because they know that there is no one else in authority asking questions.

We went to where they were hit, on one side of the street was one shoe, further down across the street was the other. When you get hit by a car on your feet, at least, you can get knocked out of your shoes. I've heard of it happening to others also. It's a further shame its been so long, I would say otherwise: find the shoes, find the scene of the crime. When I took drivers ed in high school, our teacher invited some paramedics to come in and share the wildest accidents they’d ever seen and they all brought photos from the accident scenes. In one of them, a massive dude had been thrown out that tiny triangular window behind the backseat window (the little wedge that doesn’t roll down with the rest of the window). His body was stuck in a spot that my cat couldn’t fit through. Car accidents are CRAZY especially when people aren’t wearing seatbelts. It does seem like maybe she was hit again after the initial collision and I remember another report said that a bystander picked up her clothes out of the road and put them on the guardrail. It’s hard to know what is true even if it was in the newspaper.

This is an excellent point. While parts of this case are definitely sus. Physics is also crazy. I've seen dash cam footage from inside a car where a really big guy hit something while not wearing his seat belt. Rather than flying forward into the windshield like you'd expect, he flew into the passenger seat and then into the back of the car where he bounced around in both seats like a rag doll.

I agree. People often lose their shoes and clothes due to an impact. (They don't refold on a guard rail tho) It's hard to imagine but the physics are there.

The car would’ve been shredded if it hit the guard rail, for her family to say that the damages to it weren’t that bad is very fishy… something happened to this woman 😢

This is so crazy the same thing happened to my hometown on New Year’s Eve a few years back! There was a group of friends and they left a girl at a gas station and the girl went missing for over two weeks and then she was found in a field near the gas station that they had been searching the whole time. Authorities said that they must’ve just missed her but there was no way she was definitely planted there. The family still has no idea what happened to her and the people that were involved never spoke up.

There is NOTHING worse than losing a young adult/child…. I’m still looking for answers for my nieces death….. it’s shrouded in mystery and no friends are talking… of course they aren’t….. I had JUST talked to her…. So when you said she had just spoken to her sister an hour ago …… ughh made me cry….. I wish her sister never felt that pain or saw that scene and having to be the one to tell the family…. I can’t even imagine…. I had my mom tell me and I’ll never get those screams out of my head…… RIP Jaleayah….. RIP Jaela (my niece) … the names are eerily similar as well….

What a sad case and it's SO hard having unanswered questions! I believe there's more than meets the eye. Was she alone? Did they or she meet up with someone after the club? Were her cellphone records checked along with her friends? I would also need more information on her autopsy...were there any marks on her body that wouldn't line up with an accident. Did they find any other persons DNA or belongings in her car? I find it very strange the clothing not only being hung neatly in the order in which it happened but how it all came off pristine, the car coasting, and the dismemberment of her body 😔 The story told by her friends was to make sure she didn't drive home. Yet she made it to her car? Then they go to McDonald's (without her, suspic) the fight had to be very heated with or without substances. Why give her keys back when her sister was coming to pick her up? Her family deserves more of an investigation and the peace of mind!!!! I only hope for the whole truth and for everyone to have salvation!!!! 🙏❤️

It's super strange though because if the accident was enough to shred her clothes, they wouldn't have been hung over the guard rail. I wonder if maybe they picked up her car, went to take her to the gas station but she screamed to be let out of the car? Maybe one of them accidentally hit her with the car? But theu had to stage it? The whole thing is awful

@@krystamckay9669 it probably wasn't. Maybe the friend got jealous after seeing her flirt with the ex? We will never know in the end what is sad, is that if the friends are innocent and they just left her at the gas station alone, they left her vulnerable to an attack.
