Thank you for the video. Have a few additional sigma midrange and longer primes but love my 10-18/2.8 and 18-50/2.8 Sigma zooms. I also own the Sony E 15/1.4 that I bought use instead of the Sigma 16/1.4 and very happy with it. Curious if you have a link to your capture setup were I can find some detail. Take care.

So helpful! I like how we could see live examples of what the lenses look like 📷 The Sigma 16 looked fantastic. It is cheaper than the Sony 15 and has smoother bokeh. The Sony is lighter ok whatever. Thanks for this video.

Hey Kri! Great video! We just got an a6700 using the kit lens 16-50 for green screen music videos was wondering what your recommendations were for an upgrade in the future. We have a 15x15 room and we shoot 2 guys (my brother and I), was checking out the sigma 10-18mm but was seeing there was anything else slightly cheaper. Or just wanted your thoughts! Thank you!

Thank you! I really enjoy the 10-18 and can recommend that. Have also heard great things about the Sony 11mm f/1.8 if you're looking for a better aperture for low light.

@@kriedholm there was another KZfaqr I watched last night that actually said for music video green screen work as long as we have good lightning (which we do) he said the Sony kit lens will do just fine.

Great review! I switched from sigma 16mm to sony 15mm because of how light & small the sony is. Sigma 18-50mm is a great choice, but i really missed the extra focal legnth of sony 16-55mm when i was using the sigma. I would suggest sony 16-55mm if budget is not a problem

Just subbed to your channel……great review on all three Sigma lenses. I currently own the 16mm, and the 18-50mm………10-18mm purchase is around the corner. My question to you is regarding live-streaming. I would like to use a 4K capture card by Elgato, and was wondering if can stream in 4K 30p? As you can see, I’m an absolute novice at this sort of thing, so every little bit of knowledge can help me understand better. Thanks!

Appreciate you tuning in! As for the capture card, although it’s capturing 4k, streaming platforms max out at 1080 so you won’t be able to stream in 4k. Either way, I have that capture card and it works great!

I would totally recommend you to invest on lightning and audio before the lenses. with great lighning an audio is amazing what your end product can be.

Yes man, that is good enough for starter long as is a solo podcast, once you have the audience you can start improving your gear. don;'t get me wrong on my first comment equipment is important but in today age you can start out with minimal equipment as cellphone with good lightning can provide good output, add good audio and you almost have the whole way. Hi! Definitely not a bad idea to stick with the same mount. Just sold my m50 for the a6700 so I’m all e-mount at the moment.
