I'm Indian and I have super yellow undertones too...I add an itty bitty bit of turmeric in with my foundation and mix it in to make more of a yellow undertone without affecting the deepness in the foundation shade itself

so far it's worked for every liquid foundation I've ever used. I just have a little jar of it and I dip my finger in, just get a little turmeric on the tip of my finger, and I mix that into the foundation on the back of my hand. I've never had undertone issues since :)

NARS foundations tend to have yellow undertones. I find any liquid based foundation with red undertones eg MAC turn me a terreicotta plant pot lol.

NARS sheer glow is the only foundation that suits me exactly! The same goes for their creamy concealer. I'm in-between alot of shades and if i choose the lighter one i look ashy if i choose the darker one..... well i have the same problem as you (i look like a terracotta plant pot).

Omg I thought I was the only one who feels this way ! I love MAC but after years of playing with their foundations I had to walk away. I now use NARS sheet matte and the undertones suit me well. MAC foundations have me looking like a tomato after it oxidizes lol .

I feel you girl! My face is a shade and a half darker than my chest and it's sooooo annoying, Sometimes I don't wanna wear foundation to even everything out so I get frustrated lool. Recently i've been using bio oil and lemon juice to correct the discolouration and it's been working great! Its a struggle to be all one shade haha #darkskinprobs

Oooh, puurrretty! You should definitely do a top 5 foundation favourites - saying why you like them, and if they are more inclined to suit a particular skin type and what finish you achieve - even bb & cc creams have you come across any that would make your top 5 bases? I think it will give you an opportunity to showcase high end and high street brands.

To combat the lighter chest/darker face problem, just match your foundation to your chest. When you wear a low neckline, it will look like one beautiful continuous piece of skin all the way from your head to your chest. Love the video!!

This is just what I wanted from you! Thanks Patricia :) I've noticed you've been using a lot of different foundations recently like you've mentioned Lancôme and Charlotte Tilbury and Bobbi Brown so I was just wondering if you would consider doing an I dunno favourite foundations or video or best and worst dark skin complexion products? It would be great to see what's out there and all the things you've tried even something like the best and worst of foundations. I dunno I'd love that! Patricia, I'm so happy that you acknowledged the difference between your chest and face skin tones. I have dark skin too and I was literally just looking at myself in the mirror today and was thinking about how the tones between my chest and face are just like that and wondering why that is. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one that has that and that there are others that don't resort to bleaching to "fix" it

Hi! can you do the video with drugstore brands? I use Revlon ColorStay but everytime I wear it...I get flat face and I don't know how to contour/highlight or even what to use to try.
