Plan to use this with a 7800x3d, do you know at all if this would work well with the X3d cpus vs the regular ones?

Yes, just make sure you are on the latest BIOS that addresses some VRM heating issues in some boards.

What I like most about the board is all the PWM headers. Gives me info on every individual moving part and lets me configure them all in the BIOS. The machine stays very very quiet.

Does this motherboard have a m.2 heat sink?

Yes, it has 2 of them. a small one up on top and a larger one that covers up 2 more m.2 ports below.

lol im a dumb ass, thought the AERO meant to get RGB from IO shield like that Aero area. just gonna be happy with my build now knowning there isnt RGB there.
