We declared war on Germany as it was heading East completely in the opposite direction to us. Germany v ruthless Stalin and Communism was always going to kick off, we didn't need to get involved. We lost the Empire, lots of the greatest generation and bankrupted ourselves to America and international finance. We never recovered from WW2 and all our problems today flow from that war. We fought in the interests of international finance ( The City of London ) in alliance with Communism.

Growing up with Great Grandparents, Great Uncles, Uncles, and a father who actually fought in TWO world wars, I can assure you that many war movies were very much the OPPOSITE OF EXAGGERATED. As an Aussie with British forbears, and whose family members went all the way to UK to help fight the enemy, I learned a lot from them. As an Aussie, growing up with survivors (some veteran soldiers but also many of the British and Australian women and children who survived the horrific treatment in Japanese prison camps, of the fall of Singapore to Japanese), I could give some facts that are even too horrible for the movies. I am guessing you won’t have heard much, more likely nothing, about the fall of Singapore and the resulting horrors of Changi prison? The fall of Changi happened because the war office in Britain did not believe Australian Defence and War Cabinet about the Japanese pouring south . British defences at Singapore were woefully inadequate, unprepared, and too few. Contrast the amazing fight the Brits and Allied forces achieved on D Day with the weak attempt to defend Singapore, the rapid capitulation of English forces in Singapore, resulting in a huge victory for the Japanese. That victory gave them a base to pursue their attacks through the Pacific with Australia in their sights. I am pretty confident you won’t have heard much about Singapore unless you had relatives who experienced the fall of Singapore, or were among the British troops who were taken from there to the infamous Burma Railway, because governments generally don’t shout about defeats that happen because folk in government and in high military positions at the time, made big blunders . You seem to be a young person who cares and has an interest, so do some research and find what you can about this on the internet. 😊 Oh and I forgot to say that one of my uncles, just turned 22, was shot down when he was a RAAF attached to RAF 106 Squadron based at Metheringham. All my other family members made it back from the trenches of France and Belgium in WW1, and from North Africa, New Guinea, and Europe in WW2. Home, but not unscathed. It is so wrong that younger generations in UK are not being taught the history of the sacrifices that gave them the freedoms they take for granted today. The most important thing now, to honour them and preserve freedoms, is to go and VOTE, because not voting is spitting on their graves. 😢

@@jez49647 "Pointless wars"? Which are they and how do we know? I'm pretty confident that if Israel were not fighting for their lives - ie a war - they'd ALL be murdered by hamas. So if I were an Israeli, I'd think there was a LOT of point in that war! The poor people of Ukraine are probably more conflicted. I think Putin would leave most of them alive: so they are fighting for their way of life and it is a big question whether that is worth the loss of their young people. What I think tips the balance there, is the old idea that, if you don't stand up to tyrants, they just want more and more. As you say, wars are expensive and their points may not be things you agree with, but whatever you do, you can't stop one-sided wars. Probably the best thing to do, is to make sure you're on the side of the big boys and support them in whatever they do. Most people now think we'd be much better off if we'd supported Hitler.

@@Merlin3189 There will be some wars that are justified in fighting, especially if your country is directly attacked / invaded, but most wars Britain gets in i think could've and should've been avoided, especially when the accomplish nothing like the recent wars in the middle east. The only fairly recent war i could think maybe was worth getting into was the Falklands because it was our territory, but even then I'm not entirely convinced it was worth it. I have no love for Putin, but do subscribe to the John Mearsheimer school of thought and say America / NATO are largely to blame for provoking Russia, which we shouldn't have done. I think it's horrific the way the Ukrainians are being drafted and sent off to their doom for that ghastly little troll Zelensky. That's what they are fighting for, btw. That's what you're always fighting for. Politicians and rulers. I'd maybe pick up a gun to defend my hometown, my family and neighbours etc, but I'd never willingly fight for the UK government, regardless of which fraud is in No.10. We should absolutely not be getting involved in that conflict at all (or Israel v Gaza for that matter). Not only is it incredibly risky (ww3 / nuclear war), it's just not our fight and there's no reason to assume Putin wants to conquer Europe, just as there was no reason to assume Hitler was coming for us until we declared war on them. One can't predict the future, but when actions lead to some 60 million dead like ww2, one has to ask was it worth it? Especially looking at the state of britain and europe today.

Slowly boiled. That's a good analogy for the four stages of subversion that Yuri Bezmenov explained in his video [circa 1970/80's] I) DEMORALIZATION 2) DESTABILIZATION 3) CRISIS 4) NORMALIZATION I would argue our 'elites' are desperately trying to normalise its revolutionary policies. Be it mass-immigration, energy policy , industrial policy , food policy, the breakdown in law, fiscal incompetence and of course restrictions on free speech to object to it. There is nothing normal about any of these mad policies that have been foisted on this country but we are constantly being told its normal.

Bezmenov was particularly dishonest : what he described in the 1970's was not Soviet practice but Anglo-American practice, actually Soviet Union under Brejnev was subject to that process : it was first slowly demoralized by the creeping cult of the cheapest forms of American consumerism and American egoism and acceptance of bribing as a was to get ahead, then it led to destabilization of huge swaths of Soviet economy, then came the crisis, the so-called perestroika, and then the normalization of American practice is most countries of the American Empire, that is to say the reduction of Russia to a South American like status. The Soviets were never very good at such kind of propaganda and social transformation. In general the Soviet model appealed to people already accustomed to military life in situations where further militarisation promised better results and the Soviet system endured where that was actually the case. In India the Soviet model got success among those who knew only the British imperial system as a way to better their life. The Soviets never agreed with demoralization through leftism neither at home and even less wherever in the West they wanted a foothold like France. They were all against counter-culture and for old-style schooling, limited immigration, and encouragement to think like an engineer. Iraq is an example where the Soviet model had won and been applied with a certain success.
@RichardEnglander

The ignorance of history that you discussed is very depressing. I cannot accept it, I simply cannot. What has happened in Britain is seemingly wilful, coordinated by very dark forces. I never expected that this deterioration of our country could happen. Thanks for pointing out the importance of gross migration rather than net migration. The discussion about demoralisation, destabilisation, etc. It rings true, does it not? I remember seeing in 1992 a poster from an Islamic student society poster: the large text said: "What does the future hold for Non-Muslims in the UK?". As we had reported on ANP all the way back in 2014 when we first broke this bizarre forecast to our readers, Deagel also forecasted the United States would be a 3rd world nation by the year 2025 economically, with our military spending being forecast to drop from $726 billion dollars yearly to only $8 billion dollars in the year 2025, while our GDP per capita was forecast to drop from $52,838 to $13,328 by 2025. Also forecasting our gross domestic product to tumble to only $2.4 trillion by 2025, down from over $19 trillion in 2017, Deagel was largely blaming at the time a future devastating 'economic event' to be behind their forecast though as they also pointed out, global wars have long been drivers of such economic devastation through history. And with 97 countries now preparing to attend a BRICS 2024 conference later in June in Russia, hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kazan region in June, one doesn't have to look too far to see the kind 'future economic upheaval' that have been known to drive global wars, and this 'event' it so happens will coincide with the BRICS Events from June 20th until June 23rd and the BRICS Games, featuring 29 sports, held from June 11th through June 24th. And with all of this happening as NATO is clearly preparing for war, planning to get US troops to the front lines to fight against Russia according to Colonel Douglas Macgregor in what amounts to a suicide mission against America, as Susan Duclos reported in this recent ANP story, we pray everyone is ready for what's to come in the days ahead.

Best summary I've come across. Rafe gives an excellent breakdown, saying the term 'woke' needs to be replaced with a descriptor that is more accurate: American Marxism. Genus of Marxism - - Economic Marxism: an attack on Capitalism using the proletariat and the bourgeoisie, - Radical Feminism: an attack on Masculinity, - Critical Race theory: an attack on 'Whiteness', - Queer Theory: an attack on Heterosexuality, - Decolonization Movement: an attack on the West, Add to that the fact that Marxists are also Atheists and you have the erosion of the Church. Add all that together through Intersectionality and you have the erosion of our entire civilization.
