Visit: HiddenSecretsOfMoney.com & GoldSilver.com
Bonus videos: goldsilver.com/hidden-secrets-... So there you have it folks, the Seven Stages Of Empire. Rather than write about the video itself and undo the simple elegance of Mike's explanations, I thought I'd come from a different angle -- what you can do to help us. The good news is that it is actually pretty simple. If you enjoyed the video and got something from it, please share it with your friends and family. That's it. There's no 800 number, no phone calls for donations, no pledge drive...just a couple of mouse clicks is all we ask in return for providing this educational series. Please Facebook it, tweet it, email it, whatever you can...these ideas need to be in front of as many folks as possible. Your help in sharing these videos helps us immensely. Even just clicking the 'Like' button above is great google juice that adds up to more people understanding how they are being screwed.
As you would have heard at the end of the video, Hidden Secrets Of Money is funded by proceeds from GoldSilver.com, of which Michael Maloney is CEO. I'll be forever grateful to Michael and our team for investing such a huge amount of time and energy in this series. Most companies would have locked this content down to their own website and charged a fee for viewing it in able to recoup the expense, but GoldSilver.com insisted that it be free for everyone to see. The reason for this is that the series fits GoldSilver.com's Mission Statement like a glove:
To transform economic storms into opportunity and prosperity for all who will listen.
So in closing, I hope you enjoy Episode 2, and that you might convince some friends and family to have a look at it as well.
Don't forget to check out Mike's exclusive presentation, along with the bonus features at goldsilver.com/hidden-secrets-..., there is some crucial information there that you don't want to miss.
Thanks so much, and I'll see you next week.

***** You know our national anthem! That's so cool. One thing I am wondering, and I can't seem to find anyone (not even economy professors) who can give me a concrete answer; Why do we need currency? We have gold and silver, what more do we need?
@klaassart
@klaassart 9 жыл бұрын
Ola Nordmann The answer is that they created this fiat currency in order to rip us off of our wealth and then to enslave us by the grip of something quite interesting to call 'interest'. They couple this to ensure their success by creating economics curriculum to produce these so-called economists so that they can in turn brainwash people around the world. This is how we're all deceived.

Ola Nordmann I know what you mean. People by nature feel more secure to look at things in their old familiar way. As for the crash, I try as best as I could to protect my wealth by exchanging some of my paper currency into gold money from an online company 1 gram a week. I also plan to translate this video series into my local language to educate my people about the reality of our money system so that they can protect their family's and their wealth before it's too late. It's not all about gold and money, it's about food too. So we'd better secure the supply of our food and water before the crash takes place.

Central bank pumping cash into system like it's a balloon. Governments suddenly having money to pay out millions of US families when there's already so few money flowing around the economy. They will keep pumping money until the virus slows but by then the damage has already been done. Once Banks and institutions notice virus slow down, the us dollar index will do a massive sell off al the way to .87 by June 2020. Then hit a low of .79 by end of year. Reply back if I am wrong or right.

@Viper What I dont understand is, exactly like bitcoin, gold is measured against the US dollar. People spend US dollars (or their currency) to buy gold, hold gold until it explodes (or dives because lets face it, gold is by nature, speculative) and sell it off for currency. Everyone on here, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on opinion) is still heavily reliant on the current financial system. We can complain, highlight flaws and speculate all we want, but unfortunately, your company pays you in currency. Your bank takes currency for your mortgage. You buy essential items to survive, with currency. The moment you can pay for a loaf of bread with a chunk of gold, we can all rejoice and be rid of this system. But lets not forget, we will need something with a flawless structure to replace it. Or we are just in the same place as the last system. Oh and this whole "you cant make more gold" argument to avoid inflation brings me full circle to bitcoin/crypto. Its the same argument. Unfortunately, it doesn't work when there are 7.7 billion people on this planet and only a set amount of money. Some people will naturally hold currency (or "money") outside of the system instead of spending it. Enough people withholding enough of the currency (or "money") outside of regular circulation will starve others of having the currency to spend. Not ideal when we are talking about wealth shifts. It just takes power from some people and gives it to others. TLDR: We rely on the current financial system as we still measure everything against it. Until we stop measuring against it, we are bound to it. Simple.

jonyD143 My opinion. Corona virus is just a distraction to what is the real problem. Countries 💰 money systems. The virus is not 100% real like they say it is and we are all being lied to until they figure out the next move. Most people are not aware of any of this fiat currency issues going on right now. TV, news, and more are deceiving people. My take on it....

Thank you Mike, I agree with Ola Nordman's comment below. I have my PhD and have been working in International Development for over a decade, and your documentaries are the first time I actually feel that I understand the contemporary global financial economic system - and how war politics is directly linked to it. You are a clear and compassionate story teller. I note that your business is selling gold and silver, and while some may therefore doubt your 'true' motivations for these documentaries, I understand and believe your stance in that the greatest investment we can make is not gold per se, but to educate ourselves for the sake of a real quality of life. Indeed, we don't have to buy your gold to watch your free documentaries! And I do think that you yourself are gold:) Thank you for taking the time to make and share these documentaries for free.

+Leah Briones This is stupid, value is personal. Value is always changing. There is no way to make it permanently static. Even if you price a given amount of gold it is only valuable if the next person believes it is and is prepared to sacrifice something(that is more or less worth the price of that gold). Gold is stupid. Technology - is the best way to try to store and transfer value. Gold can be stolen. The price of gold can fluctuate depending on how many people BELIEVE it has value. Gold is stupid. Technology is the future. Ethically managed currency is the future.
@Surya-qf7gc

+Andrew Millar Something is only valuable if people THINK it has value. For thousands of years people considered gold and silver as valuable, so they used it as money. We THINK fiat money is valuable, so we use it as money. If a country fucks it up and people lose trust in that country, then they don't want the fiat money of that country, so the fiat money loses value in comparison to other countries. There is nothing wrong with fiat money. The problem lies in the fact that the money supply is controlled by retards and the fact that they charge interest on the money they create. You can only charge interest on money that is already in the system and NOT on newly created money. Fiat money works perfectly if the money supply is controlled by capable people.

Thank you Mike Maloney. The day I went for an interview in a mint and was shown around, including the money being printed, I realised we had all been conned. I thought to myself money = ink + paint+ paper+ mercury. I was only 18 and was offered a job as a confidential secretary which I turned down in 1978. People say I am crazy when I tell them the notes and coins are worthless and a form of slavery. Our wages/salaries are simply what we exchange for how much food the banks have decided we can get for it. I always said I would like to meet the person/persons who mashed up some papyrus and put the king's head on it while telling me how valuable it is. Now here you are explaining it in great depth but in such a way that I can grasp every thing you say. Thank you once again.

the banks decide price of food?
@HDdAnNaUgamingrRO
@HDdAnNaUgamingrRO 4 жыл бұрын
@@bendog7311 The banks print currency, dollars, which is not money because money has the power to store the value it has got and stores it over time, like gold. If dollars are not backed by gold, then, they have no value. We are practicly slaves to this system. And the fact that you now understood it, is so mindblowing that it does not even make sense because we are basically being programmed from young ages that dollars has value, but it really hasn't. So, if U.S dollars have got no value and banks print lots and lots of this currency, then the society will experience an epic inflation in prices like we do right now, and eventually lose faith in FIAT money and return to GOLD, which is real money. The fact that the banks decide how much a bread costs is being explained like that. If the price of a 300g bread is 5 dollars today and the Federal Reserves decide to pump 200 BIllion dollars into the system, like it has happened in the 2008 great economic crysis, then the price of the bread might go up to 6 - 7 dollars. If that happens, we as common humans, we'll have to work more to pay for that bread. The currency money, dollars/euros/rubles/franks, etc we have in the banks will lose purchasing power. That is because: Today I have 15 dollars in the bank account and today the 300g bread costs me 5 dollars, therefore I can buy 3 300g breads. Past the action point when the Federal Reserves pumps money into the system------------------------------------------------------------------------ Today I have 15 dollars in the bank account and today the 300g bread costs me 7 dollars, therefore I can buy 2 300g breads. To say the banks regulate the price of the products it's just an expression, a metaphor, but it is true. Thank you and have a nice day.

When countries go to war they know that simply taking money from their people through taxes to pay for the war would cause descent or at least make people think twice about the war, so the leaders print more currency so that the populace doesn't realize they're being stolen from. The effect is the same. The networth of the individual goes down, but people aren't literally having to hand their hard earned dollars over to pay for the war. The value of their dollars is simply being decreased which is harder to notice and which is why the leaders do it.

If I've learned anything in this life, It's that one should never rely on a single source of information, and viewpoint for important decisions, if at all possible. In emergencies, when there is no option, one must act instinctively. However; given the opportunity, careful examinations, and seeking good counsel of people you respect, is always advisable. Precious metals are a good investment when done properly over time. Attempting to vastly increase ones investment in metals could be a huge disaster for your life savings as well as inflation. Go for it if that's what you want, but learning about the history of metal exchange, transfer, supply, etc. takes a very great deal of homework for the beginner. Don't be chumps. Do your homework before you jump in to deep.

Been studying, talking to experts, for 50 years, so it's hard to tell you where to begin. "However", you should start with a good basic book, or two on (economics 101), some reading on (commodities), (banking / finance), with an emphasis on (pitfalls, and scams), which is what much of precious metals investing is all about "unfortunately". Precious metals are a sound investment ,"but only under the right circumstances" for the right person. If you don't understand the mechanisms, of the (business cycle), (interest rates), (market fluctuations), (price fixing) by conglomerates like (Goldman Sachs) and how to recognize the changes, you are just throwing darts randomly hoping for the best. The right investment is different for every person in every different situation. Some people with physical strength get rich with sweat equity flipping houses etc. It's a great idea if you're full of piss and vinegar and a good amount of building skill. Some have dreams of starting a small business, but it requires drive, and commitment. The people who succeed in small business must first of all "(LOVE WHAT THEY DO)", that way 16 hour days won't seem like work because you love it. Sometimes that's what it takes in the beginning. The very best investments by far for beginners are (Roth IRAs) if the moron congress doesn't destroy the system as they probably will giving unnecessary tax breaks to billionaires, and millionaires. What a bunch of assholes. Until you mature in investment knowledge with reading and experience the best investment is to (KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE). The old saying is it's not "how much you make", it's "how much you keep". When you have gravy money over and above your safety nest egg, then it's safe to test your knowledge, and branch out. Buy derelict used cars, and sell one every few months for a small profit, if you are mechanically inclined, or have a good mechanic who won't rape you. Sell used stuff on EBAY, Craigslist etc. Always pay credit cards off as soon as humanly possible. Live off strict cash as often as possible. The biggest mistake (young investors), or should I say (non investors) make is (buying crap you can't afford), : snowmobiles, jet skies, boats, $40,000 4WDrive trucks that get 20 gallons to the mile : ( Save your money! live frugally! Only buy things that "appreciate in value with time". There's a million good books on all these subjects, and I do recommend a good book not the computer alone, because it causes you to focus. There are still great free libraries out there, especially at the local college. Be respectful and no one will ask any questions. It's free, and theres entire sections dedicated to economics and related topics. Get busy!

What, you mean that coin with the white heron on it? I quite like that one. It's a reference to a belief in Maori culture that upon their death their spirit walks to the most northern part of NZ, climbs an ancient pohutukawa tree, at which point they transform in to a white heron/kotuku and fly off to their true homeland, Hawaiiki (Maori aren't indigenous to NZ I might add, they're recent Polynesian colonial arrivals). The saying that relates to this is "Kotuku Reringa Tahi" which means "you only see the white heron once" .... on the day your spirit becomes one. That image on the coin can be regarded as the spirit of a deceased Maori on its way back to its true homeland.

It's not because the printed piece of paper is worthless per se its because the shop keeper doesnt want to accept 200 world currencies and then have to go to the exchange later to convert them all to their currency nor does he want to take a loss that day if the exchange rate fell and you paid less.

I've read Alexander Del Mar's books on the history of Money. According to him coins were first created in Babylon. They were gold tokens with a wheat symbol and each token represented one bushel of wheat. The tokens were usually kept in the King's vault and represented to him the amount of food available in the wheat silos throughout the kingdom. As wheat was sent into and out of the silos tokens would be added and removed from the King's vault. It was an accounting system for the most important thing of value in early civilization - food. ... Anyway, if you're interested in the history of money I do recommend looking up Alexander Del Mar and reading his books. They are old, but to this day are still considered definitively authoritative on the topic. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_del_Mar
