In today's video, we'll create 3D Fabric Flowers Using Fabric Manipulation to Create A Spring Floral Burst for our March Panel. This is Part 2 of our March Stitch Along where we will be taking inspiration from spring flowers to create our piece of textile art.
If you like what you see and want to catch all the videos in this series, you can subscribe to this channel, and if you click the notifications bell, you will never miss an upload.
Join me at 2.30pm GMT every Sunday for a restful time of slow stitch, embroidery and textile art. Each month we are going to create a complete piece of art that we will create bit by bit each week.
Feel free to follow my design, use my piece as inspiration, or you could use the same techniques as me to create something totally original.
I hope to try lots of new things this year as I create my 2024 stitched journal. I hope you will come along for the ride!
Please tag me when you post your creations on social media. @featherstitchhouse and use #fshwingingit24 so that I can see your beautiful work.

You are so kind. It's my pleasure to share. You will get great results because these techniques are so straightforward and sort of take care of themselves. I'm really glad you feel inspired. 😊

Just love this! These colors are so bright and beautiful. You are correct I have not seen flowers done in fabric. There is a glitch in sound when I believe you were talking about fraying. Yours look like they are not fraying. Could you go over that in your next video? Thank you, and for sharing.

Yes to bright colors! I am very tired of this neutral/white/beige trend in decorating, clothes, and even junk journals that seems to have gone on for much too long. It's as is the whole year was autumn with no other seasons. Look how much more beautiful your piece is with those flowers!

So glad you like it. I do love neutrals and muted colours, but colour is great too. I tend to take my inspiration from nature, which allows me to play with both styles. I love the freedom to enjoy everything. 😉
