I'm loving mine, paired with a 530w and a flightstream 210 to communicate with iPad and foreflight its all very nice!

Just got one of these for my plane. Happy with it so far but I sure wish they'd add the FlyQ app to the list supported apps.

It also provides AHRS, synthetic vision, FIS-B weather and TIS-B traffic wirelessly to ForeFlight. Teamed with Garmin’s Flight Stream 210, Foreflight sends/receives flight plan routing to/from GNS 530/430 navigators.

ident button should be somewhere independent from all other buttons, just my opinion

Why? I have a 335 and have had zero problems with the ident button where it is.

have 1 plane with flightstream 510 and GTN-750, iPad foreflight will send flight plans and cahnges, either direction between devices. We have another plane with GTX-345, connects fine to iPad, shows weather and good connection, but flight plan transfer does not work. Is there a setting in the GTN750 that must be changed in configuration menu?? I might have found a setting, but have not tested it yet. Thanks

Spent way too much time on the GTN750 and other products that have their own videos. Why doesn't this video go through all the options of the GTX345. You talked about timers... why didn't we see them?

I don't care about the fancy MFD, I searched for a TRANSPONDER not a GPS.... Foreflight with a stratus does all this crap anyways.

If you own you're own plane and flying in an area where you need ADS-B out you still have to get something for that. I'm presently using a gdl-50 w/garmin pilot and a tail beacon. Definitely a personal preference but I like the idea of less clutter. While expensive I look forward to getting a gtx-345 and leaving the tablet in the bag, the gdl in the closet and disabling the uAvionix adsb-out or putting the old beacon back in.

These gadgets are great for people with a LOT of money they don't know what to do with, but when is FAA going to put a stop to REQUIRING the average GA aircraft owner to have this stuff installed in their "Piper Cub?" Seems to me FAA should limit the amount of air traffic within a certain geographic area instead of making us monitors of electronic gadgets with our eyes concentrating on a CRT instead of looking outside. Too damned much information!!
