Absolutely! It’s difficult to tell in the video but, that’s what I’m using in my tutorial. The skies the limit. Play and have fun with creating new designs. 🙏

Along with those stitches and changing the color of thread, you could also use narrow ribbon, perle cotton, embroidery floss and narrow yarn can be couched by the zigzag stitches or woven through the stitches with a tapestry needle (I think those are the dull ones).
