🪡 Drs discuss the benefits of using threads for the purposes of skin improvement. Monofilament threads for the skin can be used pretty much anywhere including the Face, Neck and Body✨🥰 We also take a quick look at 'spiral' threads which can be used to increase volume and contouring which works particularly well in the cheek area.
At TLC we use the new and revolutionary NORDYX threads to perform our threadlifting treatments. These innovative threads stimulate the formation of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid resulting in a stronger more elastic tissue. NORDYX threads are made from PLACL (that’s a mix of polycaprolactone PCL and poly L-lactic acid PLLA) making them unique in their longevity and versatility compared to the older PDO (polydioxanone) threads.
We are using these threads not only for soft tissue suspension to sculpt the jawline, neck, and mid-face area but we can also perform brow-lifting- evening up pesky asymmetrical eyebrows. We can increase skin tightening using monofilament threads under the eye, in the neck, and in the face and one of our favourite new procedures is placing threads in the lips for an extremely natural rotation of the red lip surface.
