Sounds bad but don’t think Amazon is any better. Yes, the hours are not as crazy but there is no stability with the company. They make it seem like workers are unreliable and the reason for the fast turnover rate. But in actuality, they fire people left and right for no clear reason.

The people already hired don't like to show up for work. Are union is so good they still have jobs.

once u career and union ppl get lazy and call out like crazy. gotta dude at my location he averages 2 call outs a week and union saved his ass bein fired quote “he very productive when he here.”

Yup. It's like $31 the cap. A carrier in my office made $108k but she's been doing it for years. The longer you work there the better money and more seniority for better routes.

I'm not 100% what the insurance is after you become regular. They take out $63 every 2 weeks for the united healthcare.

Union is different for each branch. Mine is $28.66 every 2 weeks if I remember right. $28 something.

It's just sometimes it doesn't go out. A few carriers will have it as their aux route. If they don't finish then some people won't get mail. Being short staffed is rough.

@@GuciTheBulldog1 took me about a month before I got invited to do my shadow day but I also accidentally applied for an rca position right off the bat without really knowing that I would have to use my own pov so I probably took longer than most people

@@jholl3357 Thank you for the reply!! My wife has her fingerprints appt tomorrow!! She's excited and anxious!! Been watching others videos!! Its been a long process n hopefully it all goes well!! She was told fingerprints then orientation (cca)

She will have a shadow day with her station once she gets approved and than she will do the drivers course and probably academy right after which was really laid back on my end and an easy paycheck. After that she will do her on the job training for 3 days than she will be on her own after. Its going to be a steep learning curve since ccas cover the regulars that have days off so she could be put on a route that she is not familiar with every day of the week. Tell her not to get discouraged because the first couple of months the office is going to see how much she can handle workwise espicially if its a bigger office. Never be afraid to call and ask for help if you dont think you will be able to finish the route. Good luck!

So if your over 40 with short days by the end of the week you still get that 1.5x like with normal companies? So because your non-career do you get paid holidays at least….

It's overtime after 60 hours. Not 100% though. I do know it's overtime after 8 hours in a day and penalty time after 10 hours in a day.

@@MailmanNick Oh, then my mistake. I know lets say you work Mon-Friday 10 hours each day, then that is 10 hours of time and a half. But I thought if you worked also on a Saturday, since you are already over 50 for the week the whole day Sat would also be a time in a half. So I messed that up.

@@MailmanNick your on OT after 40 hours for the week and your on penalty OT after 56 hours for the week. Also daily it's 8 hours then time and half after 10 is double time.
