My parents had horror stories from when they worked at the Post Office. Their routes were on evaluated time, so the office says this route should take this amount of time each day. If you went over that time, that was just work you did for free. So car wrecks, school bus stops, road work, etc. anything that can delay you, sorry. Free labor! And don’t dare bring any mail back. So if the route was evaluated for 8 hours and you took 9.5 hours, guess what, you worked an hour and a half for free that day. Then they had situations where they’d be working and they’d work like a few hours and would have an emergency and have to go home so they had to bring on a sub carrier to finish the route, the sub carrier got the full pay for that day and even though they worked 2 or 3 hours, got no pay. My parents put up with it and they finally retired a few years back. I don’t know how they ever put up with it. I couldn’t have, about the first time they did me like that, the rest of them would’ve been sorting the mail in the parking lot cause I would’ve burned the main building down.

Im on the ODL, 60 hours a week. In my office the ODL does 3x 12 hr days and 3x 8hr days. The 12 hr days are always Sat, Mon, Tues regardless if it falls in rotation of my SDO, big money if it falls on my SDO. Have Sunday off and the 8 hr days are always Wed, Thurs, Fri.

I’m a ptf in New Jersey. But I always check my time card on liteblue. I’ve had issues with my times being changed
