Congrats Nick! You should think about getting on the assignment only list if they're going to abuse you and give you extra walking after you've completed your beastly route. The longevity of your body is more important than OT. Plenty of carriers are injured because they've walked their knees to bone-on-bone. Please update us on the total walking mileage of C4.

I'm a year and 5 months in on the rural side, and I just got my own route! 80 miles 559 boxes. I'm nervous to start but excited to grind and have my own route.

Happy for you bro. I'm also getting a new route. Been RLC for 5 years on and opt on a retirement route. The route is too short because it has built-in undertime for union time. The route is beautiful. All businesses and NBUs no walking. Just can't do it any more because my station is tightening on overtime and I'm used to 56 hrs a week. I bid back to my original station during my CCA years. That route is small but DIRTY. No mail at all. Just dogs and dirtiness. No one wants it. It also has no T6. I'm almost guaranteed to be working 6 days a week on that route too on ODL. Wish you luck bro

If you only had 2 choices which would you choose? 1) An all curbside route in a wealthy area with a lot of packages or 2) walking 12 miles everyday in the ghetto with few packages

I also just made regular and being the only CCA converted I didn't get a choice and they assigned me a T6 swing at an office I only have 8 hours at and all the routes are over 8 so its good money but I believe if work/life balance especially with kids. So I'm bidding to an office that I spent over a year at while I'm on a long term hold down at another office.

Went out on my own for the first time yesterday. It took me all day to do half route.

Don’t worry dude I was I put a bid on one of the worst routes at my station I was on it for 3 years and on the overtime list as well it was rough but now I got a way easier route and everyday is a good day
