Those houses are the same feet away from each other as our houses here in WI nice house but I hate to say it they look like the Habitat for humanity houses that are built around here which are nice sturdy houses but they still remind me of that

The community houses reminds me of The Truman Show movie. No originality, no beauty, no personal touches.I do like how it is decorated inside though, despite the echo. I have watched quite a few different videos of tours of these homes and they all echo.

I like the idea of the classes and the activities, but the it doesn't look like there's much privacy when you're home, and the HOA restrictions could be unbearable if you got sick or poor and couldn't keep up with the lawn care😢

First of all we don't have any HOA rules at all. The Villages is governed by district rules. As far as privacy, depends on many factors. Villas can be a problem because of rentals.. If you live in an area with a lot of younger folks , they tend to party and have lots of visitors and such. Older areas are much quieter.. As far as not affording maintaining your home here, we all know what our district rules are when we buy. It's not anybody's responsibility to maintain the property but the owners. Just because you're getting older which we all are you still need to keep up..

Thank you for the video Skip. Curious 🧐 to your thoughts 💭 regarding patio villas as rentals in The Villages. As these patio villas have increased in price into the 260k - 300k with taxes around 4000 annually, do you feel they are a good value. Add the monthly entertainment fee and fee for infrastructure that adds another 4-5 grand a year. It would seem that to turn any kind of profit the rent would need to be 30k annually. Thanks again Skipper for all your hard work 😓
