Presiding are Judge Patricia Millett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, Judge Pamela Reeves of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and Justice David Stras of the Supreme Court of Minnesota. Wow, very interesting! Having watched a lot of Moot Courts from Harvard and other top schools, I think these judges definitely went harder on these 4 then some of the other judges I’ve seen.

High quality moot. This and the Ames are the best I've seen, really. There are some experienced advocates who aren't half as cogent and eloquent as some of these top students. Is there an excuse for that? Do some professional advocates just have less time to thoroughly practice the one case?

Most likely that Advocates prepare for multiple cases at the same time

Yup, these are the final two teams arguing this moot court case in front of the Judges. They are going to get drilled. Excellent job UVA Law.
