The pitch: build a hotrod (on the cheap) in three days... and immediately drive it across the country. We found this 1980 Ford Fairmont wagon lost & forgotten on a reservation just outside of Yakima, WA for $500. It didn't have much going for it at first; the engine barely ran, gears were hard to find and the brakes were non-existent. Follow along as we (attempt) to take this derelict Fairmont and turn it into something.... drivable.
