From the videos I've seen on here between the Titan, Archon and Valor, wall-mounted pulley racks, this is definitely the smoothest and the quietest. It does cost more than the other two, but having that silent pull is probably worth it. Titan sounds like a bad car transmission and Archon sounds like nails on the chalk board to give you an idea.

Thanks for this review! I was just looking for a low-cost pulley system that could fit in my basement where I only have 81 inches floor-to-ceiling. This one looked promising, but with such a low price (relative to other pulley systems) you have to wonder about the quality. Your review certainly helped my decision. Sadly, the price on Amazon has gone up to $368.98.

Nice review. I am personally glad it fits 1” weights. I had over 150 lbs in 1” weights from adjustable dumbbells I had. So I chose to keep all my weights 1”.

This is a good machine, I own one. However if you’re over six feet tall you will need to raise it up off the floor a little. It will be too short for you. But for the mo ey this is pretty good.

U CAN BUY A 2 INCH ADAPTER FOR THE PULLEY SYSTEM SO U CAN USE YOUR BIGGER 2 INCH WIEGHTS

I disagree on the 2 inch plates. Like if you have those adjustable dumbbells, they also can only hold 1 inch plates, so because of that it would make sense to just have 1 inch plates at your home gym, like I have. Because that way you can just use the weights you have on your dumbbells on everything else, like bench press and also, on that pulley system.

Hello from across the pond, on a scale of 1 being a whisper and 10 being a hurricane how loud is this pulley system? Reckon some one would hear it in a room next to the gym? Only asking as my Archon pulley is great but so loud! Cheers fella appreciate it

Hey man great review! Question about mounting this system. Do you think this could be bolted on to a power rack? If, for example, I were to purchase 2 of these and mount each on either post of a rack to have a proper crossover setup? The mounting bracket seems to have freedom vertically to choose where you'd bolt it. Thanks in advance for your insight!

why is mine so rough the resistance feels awful and its assembled right. It feels like im tugging on a rope.

Can you bolt this thing to a rack?

Cut some 2x4's and screw them on either side if you don't want it to move. You drill into the unit, you risk damaging its integrity.

Does it work off bearings for smoothness?
