What even more amazing is that even without danger, it was already so good. The power of the beautiful touch Peter has when his hands are on the piano.

You should do more Radiohead- their newer stuff is pretty jazzy, especially if you include side projects like The Smile

It completes the space a vocal would fill… as a producer, that’s what I heard

It sort of becomes “Life On Mars” when you get ‘dangerous’ … or maybe one of those live versions where Garson goes a little more out with it

It’s sounds like the person from whose pov the song creep by Radiohead is being narrated, but this “creep” turned out to be much more that he had thought of himself and prospered in the end

that flat 9 in the E7 sounded strangely good, being on the sopranos voice and beat 1 hahah amazing

If you clamored here to say it's Radiohead, I would say open your ears. Progressions like these go back before Mozart, are improvised on Ray Charles records, arranged for dance, and performed by a vaudville group in Black face. . . Aprecciate the awesomeness of harmony everywhere, and in every genre all the time.

Peter is an eternal fountain of great ideas. Are the transcripts shown in these clips in a catalog and available for purchase, maybe by subscription, in any way at all? Clearly they exist and clearly they teach a great deal when any student analyzes, understands, and takes them through different keys. But watching them fly by in the clip or chopping up frames on a cell phone, etc., doesn't work too well.

Why did I hear giant step walk down at the last? 🤔🤭
@pickagreatname2 ай бұрын
I hear it too. Its close-ish. The signature line of giant steps is F#, D, B, G, Bb. The line peter plays in the top voice of the last 5 chords is F, Db, C, B, A. The first, second, and last notes are the same but down a half step, so it starts the same way and ends in the same place relative to the start of the line.
