@bofo85 actually, they were confused with "chorro". "Chorro", like in "un chorro" means "a lot". Literally, the word means "a stream", like a stream of water. "Chorrillo" instead is diarrhea. 😂😂

They forgot the most important of them all, the one word with a hundred meanings, "Madre", or they knew it would be too insulting for moms. En la madre, a toda madre, ni madres, te voy a romper la madre, se partio la madre, que es esa madre?, donde esta esa madre?, esto sabe a madres, que poca madre, que desmadre, vales madre, me vale madre, ya valio madre, etc, etc..

In the Philippines we also have "Aguas" but it's spelled "Iwas" meaning "Be careful". We have Tocayo too but it is spelled "Tukayo". We have "Gacho" but it's usually spelled "Manggagacho" which means someone who scams people or is bad in general. I am totally amazed by this!

I believe that with Mexican slang there is actually the need of a Dictionary. For expressions like: -orale, wey, -no manches, -chido, etc. There are multiple meanings.

Awesome! I worked with a lot of Chicanos in the Marines in the early 1980s, and shortly thereafter with a lot of Puerto Ricans in NYC. It's amazing how different the slang terms are, sometimes in subtle ways, like bendejo.

Eva has the slang down. Ever since she got together with her husband and living part time in México she has been really embracing her Mexican roots even more. She has always been very altruistic but now it is so cool to see her so involved in so many projects for the Latino community. Eva is the bomb 🔥🔥 I love her so much!

We just have different slangs as well, plus you don’t visit Austin or San Antonio for the Mexican experience that’s for tourists who want chips and salsa. Visit the valley right by the border you’ll get real tacos and culture.

I remember when Eva Longoria was almost forced to come to Mexico for one of her films. She said she had little contact with our culture and we should forgive her for not knowing but a fistful of words in Spanish. She also said neither of her parents were born in Mexico, and that the only one who taught her some Mexican culture was her grandmother.
