As a former abused female, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reporting what you witnessed. Abuse is abuse regardless of who the perpetrator is and men being abused are far less likely to report the mistreatment than women. Maybe he will realize what was happening and look to changing his situation, but honestly, the odds are against it. Sorry that you had to cut your stay short, but you did a good thing there; you truly did.

That church doorway was truly unique, never seen anything quite like it, thank you for sharing! And thank you so much for helping that man. I had a friend whose wife tried to kill him, and when the police arrived, they arrested him, even though his eyes were bleeding. He eventually got away from her. Also when I tried to help a female friend in the same situation, she turned on me after I called the police and told me to mind my own business. These situations can be so unbelievably difficult to navigate. Thank you for doing the right thing, when it's not the easy thing. You may have saved that man's life. Thank you with all my heart... I'm so happy to hear the woman was arrested...

What a lovely town... those buildings are all so beautiful. Be still my beating heart. That is one stunning arched door with the gorgeous stained glass... and those amazing Yew trees 💖💖 I want to make it my home.. just no words. I can imagine the cost of the huge gravestones, as I know what it cost for a grave stone for my mom.. and it's not cheap. I told hubby to find a lovely rock, and use a Dremel to engrave on it. Church Bells !!!!. Perfect timing my friend.. Such a quaint town... looks like they roll up the sidewalks on Sunday's, as there doesn't seem to be anyone around.

Male, was victim of harassment by a partner, used to scream, smash shit in the house and all sorts while HER kids hid behind me, but as a male, i just had to suck it up because if i reported it, id probably be laughed at/not taken seriously unless i had a black eye.

Absolutely stunning doorway ❤️❤️❤️ When I was a kid, I used to run away from home to my favourite yew tree in the local church cemetery. Would sit in it’s wide branches for many hours... until it got dark 😂 Well done you for filming the domestic abuse. He might be pissed off but ultimately, you’re doing him a favour. Women put up with domestic abuse, but men find it even harder to admit they are even being abused by their spouse. I’m writing this a little too early perhaps in the video, but I do hope you go to that place where they were char grilling the food, to warm yourself up and to eat x

Shocking that you had to witness the abuse, it does take a special kind of person to stand up and be prepared to either intervene or make a statement, sadly too many people are prepared to ignore or dismiss the problem when they see it. Lovely village though, your "shottage" is great LOL.
