Vaultek is the BEST vault I ever purchased for my EDC. Sentry is low quality and stops working after a while. Vaultek guys have created a well made product. Kudos Vaultek.

Dont worry so much about battery i charged mine in oct ,its still 82% and i open safe to check gun there everyday.

Can the safe be opened by phone if your miles away? Or do you have to be in proximity?

Bluetooth is limited by distance.

Could you please explain in a video how to lock my Vaultek with my fingerprint? I can’t program it 🥴

to lock the safe simply close it firmly where both the locks are. to program the safe tap the program button located on the inside of the safe (use the key to open it if you have not yet programed anything yet) then choose a finger you want to use to open the safe, put it on the finger print scanner and as you do the numbers will turn green. you need to keep putting your finger on the reader five times or until all the numbers turn green then your finger should open the safe.

@Jr V I seen the Reviews & VAULTEK was always mention in the Top ten of HAND GUN safes. Did you buy a VAULTEK VTI Pro ? If not what did you buy. Where did you hear that they we're Junk. I had mine over 2 years and No issues with it, reads finger prints very well. I had the GUN VAULT before the VAULTEK & not as impressed as with the Vaultek. If you buy the NANO button you can open the safe from a distance.

@Jr V they changed the Key Lock but the older ones the key mechanism can't be changed without destroying safe

My finger print reader is not reliable and dangerous. I keep it in the vehicle so I'm wondering if possibly condensation could be an issue. I'm actually in the process of returning but not sure if I want to try this model again or if I should go to the Essential model w/o the finger print reader. With the 5 reads of ones finger print you would think it would be pretty reliable. I have gotten locked out after the 6 tries and had to finally use the key. :(
