Lost resin casting with Siraya Tech True Blue(Castable) Resin, is a little trickier than with their purple Cast, but it has a much higher wax content helping to improve burnout properties. To help, here I present a complete user guide, showing step by step how I get the best from this capable and affordable castable resin, from 3D printing to finished Silver Ring.

He's been doing everything by hand the old skool way but we're smoothly transitioning. I bought a phrozen mini 4k for myself to get the hang of the process, and he bought a phrozen 8k for the shop. GIMME TRUE BLUE! I have been itching to use a castable resin as its not very common in my country of South Africa. Jumped into 3d printing to assist my uncle who decided that at 70 years old it is the right time to stop making jewelry by hand and start giving 3d printing a go. I suppose you need to start some time right? Its been very difficult and the learning curve has been something else. I can confidently print things to turn into molds because I followed your video about mold making. You have helped me in so many ways with these videos. Going from print to cast is the dream lol. I've been sand-casting with FDM print models, but largely thanks to your vids, finally decided to give a shot at investment casting with resin prints to get better detail and dimensional accuracy. This True Blue resin looks like an obvious choice. One of the Amazon reviews I saw on the True Blue resin recommended mixing the Blue and Purple to get slightly better strength for models that were particularly difficult to print. I'd personally love to see more content around your 3d printing + casting.

You need to watch more of my casting videos buddy. I usually do include the sprues in the print. However, as this video was to show what the resin is capable of, I went with the traditional approach 😁

Gimme true blue! Love your content. Ive been 3d printing for a while now for my mini hobby but used to do wax spruing and post casting cleanup at my internship as i studied to become a goldsmith. Didnt even know this was a thing for resin printers till this video! We used a special kind of pla printer with horrible layer lines that took ages to clean up. Would be really interesting to get back into that side of the proffesion. Thank you for all the great content. Your tutorials on how to propperly add suports saved my interest in the hobby when i was just getting started. Keep up the amazing work!
