Even though most of Velvet's kicks uses the boot blade, it's never shown all that prominently in the game. To the point that many people didn't even notice her using one at all. You can see it in the battle animations if you look closely though (it can be kind of difficult to see in motion and underneath the battle effects).
I took the boot blade clip from the anime. The game itself never shows it up close in a cutscene or anything like that.
