I picked one of these up at a local hobby store, and I really like it. It does take a while to charge my 5000 Mah 50C 2S batteries. It's a great first, or backup charger, is reasonably priced. Thanks for the great review on this charger.

Hi how to u do a storage charge? Should you just charge it battery about halfway then disconnect it? I have same charger does not have that option.

For $45, I rather get this Keenstone charger on amazon, it has balance charge, charge, and storage, and it can charge NiMH and other batteries

Why do these chargers come with various lipos. They are paired with various types of lipo batteries. Is this to power them on the go?? Thanks

+Josh Thompson different vehicles can use different lipos this can charge most and no it is not paired

this charger will charge your pack but it would take close to 90 minutes to do so

I need some help I bought off of Amazon the Hexfly HX-403 lipo battery charger and also some Floureon 2s lipos along with it will the Hexfly HX-403 lipo battery charger charge the Floureon 2s lipos through the balance plug or do they charge through the main connector on the battery

Both They charge through mains and balance through balance plug

does anyone know a 240v charger that will charge two 7 cell 8.4v batteries like the DuraTrax Onyx 240 will? DuraTrax Onyx 240 is only 110v

+Marshall Smith i dont know any chargers that run 240v but i would think you can get an adapter to bring 240v down to 110v

I'm moving to England soon and my Onyx 240 is 110v only. I was considering getting a transformer but it sucks I will need to carry around a transformer with me. those tiny transformers aren't real transformers and I'm more than apprehensive to use one of those to draw 40w-50w continuous through it. I guess I'll keep searching

Marshall Smith- i apologize i was wrong on not knowing any chargers but after looking around all of the venom pro series chargers run on 110-240v so you can just get a plug or adapter for england i hope this helped and i wish you luck in england and on your big move!!

Just wondering how can you tell when the batteries are done charging and is it normal for it to bounce around 0.5-1.5 amps while charging 2 batteries

Note batteries are about 3500 mah

All that is normal and it will play a tone and say full when it is done

3 amps is a lot for that batt mah. Maybe 1 amp if you want your batts to last

Yes it is alot but with high quality batteries you wont notice a difference in power or runtime for hundreds if npt thousands of cycles

This charges by the balance leads not the mains

When I plug in my 4s it is saying 8.2v. Is that correct? And as I charge it, the amperage drops. Do you think there is a problem with the battery or the charger? Or is there a problem at all?

Dexter Charles are you using a 2 cell or 4 cell

The Battery is a 4 cell. I plugged in the second battery that i received and it works fine. The second battery was in an unsealed box. The first one was in a different box and was not sealed. That's what I get for ordering off Ebay, I guess. Thank you for your video. It definitely helped me identify that there was a problem with my battery. Cheers!!!

if you have a charger that can do 5 amps do that. with this charger 3 amps will work

Rc Outdoors i have the same charger as you so 3 amps will do, should iake sure the cells are balanced as well when it begins to charge?

yes 3 amps and the charger balances them as it charges so dont worry about it

You can charge LiPo batteries at 10% of the Mah rating on the battery. So if you have a 5000 Mah battery, you can charge it at a rate of 5.0 amps, and so forth.

When I plug mine in the screen is just blue an says nothing if i plug a battery in or click a button it just flashes

XxFluffyPawnxX make sure your plug is all the in and if it is still doing that contact venom it is most likely a power error

Yes. Larger batteries take forever but can be done. Small batteries are great though

Yes you can by the balance port and it will take 25-30 minutes.

yes you can but it will take 2.5-3 hours to do so

Of course larger battery just charge 1 or 2 days before you go out. Bigger. Batterys is all I do with it. I have a HRB 6000 3S it's best battery for the price can't beat it. Takes long but overall great changer and it's always balanced long as your cells are good

About how long do you think it would take to charge 2 6200mah 2s lipo batteries?

Probably around 4.5 hours due to the fact when you charge 2 batteries at once with this charger the max output is 1.5 amps per channel i would recommend the venom pro duo it would take an hour or less for both of you batteries

Seems like a good charger even though it will only charge one at a time. I think you will be much happier with the keenstone over this one. Let me know how it works for you!
