I think theres multiple versions, with an unsuited version where the symbiote hides within the host body and simply heals and strengthens the host, a suited version that greatly enhances power and agility, and an enlarged version often used by Venom that massively boosts power and durability at the cost of speed somewhat

well they certainly pushed the PG-13 to its breaking point. I was almost certain this movie WAS R-rated until looking it up. Honestly though, would lots of blood and gore really have improved the movie? I fear it would only exacerbate the problems it did have.
