That was a great place to bring us along for the tour. I recognized a few from the 60’s and 70’s that I owned. I have fond memories of those times. Thanks a lot Ken and Lauren.

Who can forget Howdy Doody's theme song? We used to rush home from school to watch Howdy Doody. . . . in black and white no less. . . . It's Howdy Doody time, etc. Thank you for sharing a "quaint" experience. 😊

That was fun. Thanks for taking us along. I always enjoy seeing your Lauren. I’m going to send this video to my Lauren. She was born in 81, and I still have some of her toys here. I keep slowly taking things to her kids so I can empty my patio room. Although, now, I have more of my stuff in there now. It used to be the play toy room and storage. Now mom needs to clean up her act. As soon as my back gets better and it warms up. Have a blessed Sunday!

Wow! I love seeing all the toys from long ago. I remember my brother had a set of Colt 45 pistols and dual holsters. We had HO scale Trains and slot car race sets in the cellar. I did not see many board games but those occupied a lot of our time on rainy days. Thanks for the trip down memory lane ken. Enjoy all the moments with your daughter. We lost one of our 3 daughters last month so cherish every second you can.

Going to a Toy Museum! Wow, that is quite the collection! I like how they arranged them by era. Lunchboxes too! The railroad part was very cool too! I liked how you had to put money in to get it to run. That saves them from having to run it all the time or having to start it up when people show up. Quechee Vermont is worth a visit! Thank you Lauren and Ken for showing us this landmark!

Saw a bank I had that shot a penny into a spaceship... had hours of fun with that. I had a Colt 45 cap gun, and caps in general made my day in the 50's and 60's ... One thing I didn't see was a hammer, I loved to pound nails into my back porch stairs, as well as play mumbly peg... with a jack knife. Then when I became a teen I wanted socket sets and tools to work on cars... My parents lived thru the depression and were working class... so getting 5 cents to buy a package of Baseball cards and gum, to later play toss to the wall also made for fun day after day.

Enjoyed Ken, the toys certainly reflect the culture of the time. For instance the 50s toy gun exhibit, represented my stereotype of the 50s American society. Today we mourn a child killing a teacher. I was in my orange box toy store and purchased a drywall knife, the automatic checkout machine called an attendant who reset the machine and said that we have to check on all knife purchases.
