That would be a hell of a sight to watch these 2 engage blade to blade. Qel-Dromas one of my fav duelists in Star Wars, his Djem so strikes were only inferior to Anakin Skywalker and Darth Bane, and that’s about it.. He’s one of the top 20 swordsmen in Star Wars with ease. And then Mace’s skill with a blade doesn’t really need to be flaunted at all, he lets it do the talkin. I’d love to see this like on screen, in like cinematic form or somethin, like Kao Cen Darach & Malgus. We need more short films and “trailers” made like that.

This was pretty good. Didn't know a lot about Uilq, and this video has definitely convinced me he'd be a challenging opponent for Mace. Still, glad one of my favorite Jedi triumphed once again. If I was to calculate his advantage over Uliq, I would say it is around 5.9/10 to 6.4/10. But this is more or less speculation on my part. Anyways, nice video as always. :)

Happy to see this one as Ulic is a seriously underrated combatant. I see him more often placed with the likes of mid-tier Council members (Fisto, Tiin, Vos) circa the Clone Wars, but personally view him on par with Anakin, Obi Wan and Shaak Ti based on his performance against Exar Kun (at least as a swordsman). I'm curious as to how he would fare against Corran Horn, another dedicated swordsman. Definitely agree that Mace would solidly win though, 8/10 at least. Great vid.

Rico, well I finally got the time to watch this video. My negatives: I believe that Mace did once get his "super conductive loop" established before Sidious, when he fought Depa Billaba, but I may not be remembering right. I think you gave Mace an unfair advantage with not giving Ulic the advantage in non-Force assisted physicality. That being said, Mace is one of my all time favorite Jedi, and I do not disagree with the verdict in any case. Extremely well researched, and presented even better than that. You've set the bar high for yourself for the rest of your season, sir. Thank-you, Dante.

In fact I do believe this is a rematch between Anakin Skywalker and mace Windu since Ulic is so comparable to Anakin on every level. the edges were given in each category just like Antoine did though. personally I still can't decide is Skywalker better or Qel-Droma better, but I definitely agree with this video. mayhap I say that this fight would have stong parallels between the fight between Skywalker and Windu. Good video, but there were several things you got wrong/missed for both characters. First, Mace is canonically superior to Ulic, at least when he was a Jedi, as a lightsaber duelist, being proclaimed the second best duelist the Order had produced in its entire history, only surpassed by Yoda ( _The Official Starships and Vehicles Collection 48_ ). Unless you can provide some evidence Ulic grew so considerably as a Sith Lord as to completely negate this accolade, Mace is the winner by default. I find that rather unlikely, given that Mace was a superior duelist to Dooku as a Jedi, and even after the latter became a Sith Lord and improved his dueling skills even further ( _The Official Star Wars Fact File 68_ ), Mace still held the advantage (Nick Gillard). Second is Mace Windu's use of Tutaminis. He has in fact displayed this power in his fight with Darth Sidious, using it to deflect his Force lightning ( _Revenge of the Sith script, Revenge of the Sith comic_ ). Given Sidious' power is so far beyond Ulic's it stops being funny, I find it rather unlikely he would manage to do Mace any harm when the latter can partially negate Sidious' Lightning. Third is an accolade procaliming Mace the most powerful Jedi to have ever lived next to Yoda ( _Fact File 11_ ). You showed it briefly in your video but neglected to mention it, unless I missed something. This accolade marks him as a more powerful Force user than the likes of Revan reborn, who is casually ashing Dark Council members, and taking on teams of some very powerful and accomplished Force users by himself. Of course the accolade doesn't apply to Prime Ulic, and I don't think Revan's feats are outside of Ulic's scope of abilities at all, but the accolade is still worth mentioning. Now stuff for Ulic: You missed a particularly great strength feat, his best one in my opinion, when a team of Cay Qel-Droma, Qrrrl Toq, and another Jedi were struggling to hold Ulic down. This is so great because Toq has shown he can pin several men to a wall casually, and Cay has literally torn through droids with his bare hands. If they together struggle to hold Ulic down, then you can imagine just how strong Ulic is, and frankly I don't think Mace has anything comparable. Second would be Ulic's accolade of being a Dark Lord of the Sith second only to Exar Kun ( _The Dark Side Sourcebook_ ). You, again, brought this up in your video but I don't think you truly understand what it means or how monumental it is. First, let's note that the quote is in no way restricted by era (aside from the future of course), nor by faction, and the statements preceding it make it clear this is a historical recounting, and would thus refer to all of history. This would mean Ulic is more powerful than the likes of Karness Muur, a peer of Vong-infested Darth Krayt. Krayt is the most powerful member of a Sith Order whose collective strength has cast a shadow over the Force, even deeper than the one produced by Darth Sidious during his time ( _Legacy Era Campaign Guide_ ); whose weakest members can manipulate massive satellites. While this doesn't make Krayt more powerful than Sidious, it is still extremely impressive that he manages to be the top dog in basically the strongest Sith Order in history, and scaling from his inferiors would indicate he can casually ragdoll humongous objects (you can find a picture of the satellite online) and damage lightsaber-resistant objects with his Force Lightning (Darth Wyyrlok III). And Ulic is even above that. Overall, I'd still say Mace wins this due to him being able to block anything Ulic dishes at him Force-wise, and his factually superior dueling skills. It's an incredible fight, though.

Glad you finally able to bring it to life and I enjoyed it a lot. :) So why do you think a lot of people over inflate the shatterpoint ability or that Vaapad can be used against any dark side force user? If that was the case then using say the anger of a being like the incredible hulk would have the same effect, right? Lol

Fantastically well done. I agreed with everything except the Force Round and the verdict. Ulic should have gotten the edge in the Force (you even built it up that way, then curiously said it was a draw), and with his superior power, Exar Kun would likely have at least slightly superior force aug. as well, mitigating the POSSIBLE advantage Mace has in dueling. So overall, Ulic>Mace.

I'd be interested to see old Ulic against an Imperial inquisitor. Maybe 2. Seeing as he was capable of defending against a powerful duelist without the force, it might go his way, but the inquisitors are apparently all force users, seem to be fairly skilled and often unconventional duelists. Might be good.
