It's her body language and reactions that make her feel much younger to the viewer and I imagine that doesn't help with familial matters either-Assuming they haven't seen that large maturity difference between her now and her when she was younger. Id think this adds to their perception of her still being that of a young woman but I'm making a lot of assumptions idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

Girl at 19 I had been dating my boyfriend for 3 years, I knew I would marry him some day and I still wouldnt have gotten married to him at 19. I want to be an adult when I get married not a child "playing dressup".

Being mature means not to marry in 19. Adults understand that love wears off and you need to come through some really hard staff to prove your relationship is strong enough. Fortunately we can cohabit without a lawyer's permission.

Being married at the end of the day is a financial issue. Getting married at 19 is just dumb.

My husband and I got married about 2 weeks before my 20th birthday. We went to the courthouse and didn’t make a big spectacle of it. We wanted to be married, share a last name, and begin starting our lives together. We knew we were young and would have a lot of ups and downs and growing we would do, but it was still what we wanted. And there hasn’t been a single moment I regretted it:)

Honestly, as long as both people are kind, are willing to compromise on things, are able to communicate, and have compatible life goals, the marriage will be successful (nobody's perfect, but listening, and being willing to work with the other person solves probably 80% of all problems). I wouldn't encourage people to marry young (as a rule, I do think waiting until you're in your 20s or 30s is better), but if you find the right person, than go for it.

Whew.. I’m 24 & couldn’t imagine being married right now even at 19, so big ups to her 🙌🏾

My parents were 21/20 when they got married and my mom told me as much as she loves my dad, she feels she was too young to get married.

I was so sure that I was mature and old enough for marriage at 23 - but now at 37 I know that I still had a LOT of growing up to do! What was lovely, is that my husband and I have grown up together (even though he is 4 years older - I reckon we are and always have been about equal maturity wise 🤪🧐) we still are totally in love and we have two amazing kids age 12 & 10 that we adore! I still find it crazy that people my age can be in such different life stages! A friend I went to school with was wishing her son a happy 18th birthday today, then so many people don’t marry/ settle down until their mid thirties and they may have a newborn or toddlers at my age.

Not everybody is like that at 19. I was living on my own at 19. Paying my own bills. Doing it all on my own. Stop saying young women aren't grown just because you didn't mature as fast.

I’m 19, and couldn’t think about getting married right now. But, at this age, people have different aspirations. My cousin is my age, just had a kid & she’s engaged. And I’m at uni, trying to get my degree and a solid job before I settle down and have a kid. I just think it’s a personal choice at this point
