Nik Harvey because the motors are designed to run on an ac signwave so you hafto make the motors thinks thats what there getting, but you can manipulate that signwave to make them go faster or slower

Nik Harvey motors run on ac normally but its only 60hz ever Think of it like ac we control and change to run 0-60 or even as high as 800hz
