I'm only one person, but everyone I know who obtained their b.s. in psychology went into the major because they had their own issues or because they had to get a degree in somrthing and didn'tk ow what else to get it in. One of my good friends from back in high school has her doctorate and is now a marriage and family counselor... she's getting a divorce herself right now and has a rocky relationship (not the case growing up) with her immediate family.
