I know this is a little bit boring lol but I promised from beginning to end! And ya never know, some of you m8ght need to know how to deal with the cover. Full disclaimer: I am not a book repair professional, but this method works for me 🥰

I personally think you are giving this book a new life and it’s important to leave some rustic to show how old she really is. She is going to be gorgeous. I love that you have tv on. I do the same. Usually it’s episodes of I Love Lucy!

That is a very good point Michelle! Haha i am usually running paranormal investigations, home reno programmes or antique salvage shows lol bit of an odd mix I know!

Good on you for doing this after having Covid... its a wonder you had the strength to persist but gr8 work thus far... Covid sure is getting around in Australia too... 3 of my family members have had it and some friends. apparently Flu/Covid named FLiRT... go figure

Aw thank you, it's the headaches that are the worst! I suffer from migraine headaches, and every time I get a vaccine or covid it results in 5 days of constant migraines. Glad I'm finally coming out of it!

I just started the video and something popped into my head. You mentioned that this book is from the 1800’s and green, is their any chance this could be one of the “emerald green” poison books, bc back in the day, arsenic was used to get the green color. Sorry for the morbid thought lol But it was the first thing I thought of.

@@sara-leearmstrong5009 It’s one of the many random things I’ve heard about since starting journal making. I don’t details, I honestly had to google it first before I commented because I couldn’t remember exactly what made it poisonous lol I know there’s a lot of info out there though. After watching your video until the end, I think you’re safe bc your cover is leather, but again, I couldn’t say for sure. 💚🫣
